For Older style Nikon lenses
this works just as expected, but it will not work with newer style Nikon lenses. Older Nikon lenses where you can change the aperture work great.

Great camera. A modern classic.
I bought this new for ￡400 at the beginning of Nov 2016, I also got a very late serial No (54), the first No is the year it was made 5=2015, 3=2013 etc, and the second No is the quarter it was made. So a 54 was made in the final quarter of 2015.

Artistic tool with tremendous photographic quality
This camera produces organic photos that are much closer to film due to its proprietary image sensor. Fantastic photos with that great Fuji color and depth are possible over a wide range of conditions. The X-Pro1 is really an amazing camera.

Pros:
- Astounding image quality
- hybrid viewfinder is great to use
- superb lens quality
- excellent LCD screen
- expansive 49-point AF array
Cons:
- Autofocus a little slow
- battery life should be better
- only three launch lenses
- black paint not hardy enough
- loose fitting lens caps
- no built-in flash

X-PRO1
Despite autofocus that's a bit on the slow side and its retro looks, the X-Pro1 really does stand toe-to-toe with the best 16-megapixel cameras from any of the big manufacturers in terms of image quality. Handling is great and so is the weight and feel of the controls.
Pros:
- : X-Trans CMOS sensor is very resistant to moiré
- lack of a low pass filter captures more detail than any other APS-C sensor we've tried
- controls are logical and well designed
