Review: Fujifilm X-E1 a€" A Retro-Style Compact Mirrorless Camera
These days the Pentax-style retro film cameras seem to be a rage. The Fujifilm's retro-style mirrorless camera fills in the gap with X-E1. But does it take old school cameras forward, or is it just eye-candy? Let's find out.
Pros:
- APS-C sized sensor
- Well built
- Supports 1080p video recording @24fps
- Delightful 35mm f/1.4 lens
Cons:
- Steep learning curve
- Too many controls on different dials
- Processing algorithms don't work well
- Expensive

A Decent Slr
I bought this camera for WildLife photography as I love to trek. This camera is very portable and also takes great photos. The lens kit provided helps me take night photos easily which was an expected feature.

I wanted to move from dSLR to something smaller, but wasn't ready to sacrifice the functionality and image quality.I'm so impressed with dynamic range, sharpness and image quality... I can't get the smile off of my face, for weeks :) This is one beautiful and joyful camera.

Serious fun
This is a great way for someone who wants to go small but not give up quality images. There's supposed to be an update to this design in Mid October '13. Which may or may not offer some new features you'll want.
Pros:
- Great images even under low light
- Intuitive controls, Redefines (in a good way) what a kit zoom lens is
- It's not a point and shoot, but it is an amazingly fun camera
- I was looking for something smaller and easier to handle that my FF DSLR, but I didn't want to give up much in image quality.
Cons:
- The EVF is a little laggy so sports or other action type shots are not going to be this cam's forte

The Best Camera I've Ever Owned
I bought an X100 a couple of years ago and my wife simply adores that camera. Her only complaint: no zoom. And by only, I mean Only. In all other ways the X100 is amazing.
Pros:
- Automatic mode is incredible
- Picture quality is stunning
- Picture depth is amazing
- Built in panoramic function
- Build quality is superb
Cons:
- No minimum shutter speed setting for auto
- "Format Card" buried too deep in the menus

Fujifilm X-E1 Mirrorless Camera Review
The X-E1 is the second mirrorless system camera made by Fujifilm. In contrast to the X-Pro1, it has an electronic viewfinder with ultrahigh resolution (2.3 million RGB dots) instead of the X-Pro1's hybrid viewfinder (combination of optical viewfinder and electronic viewfinder).

Great Camera
Great camera for usability and quality of images. Downsides are the slow focus and video performance, but this is really a photographers camera. I really like the quick exposure compensation dial and viewfinder. More lens selection would be nice.

Can't say a single bad word on it.Phenomenal product, throw your non-FF dslr away and get this plz. Get this gem and relief your shoulder. You will definitely love this.

Scratch & Dent Fuji XE1
Product came as advertised in original box w/accessories. So far working fine. Good price. Was surprised it had black tape covering up model & name but all was well after removed.
Pros:
- Came as advertised and at a good price
Cons:
- Shipping to a bit longer than expected
- but may be summer
