Fujifilm X-E1 review by spochana
A long waiting Pro-quality mirrorless camera for me. It is light and solid built. I can carry to everywhere I go without a big camera bag but it can deliver high quality photos similar to a DSLR (APC sensor not full frame).
Pros:
- Light
- solid built
- DSLR image quality
Cons:
- a little slower focusing speed than DSLR

- Large CMOS sensor
- Great image quality
- even in low light
- Easy to use
Cons:
- Autofocusing could be faster
- Video capture is a weak feature

Fujifilm X-E1
The X-series cameras also allow you to adjust dynamic range, saturation, sharpness and gradation. A sweep panorama function works well, letting you sweep the camera across the scene to create a panoramic shot.

- Compact body with great retro style
- Intuitive physical controls
- Packed with professional-grade features
Cons:
- Slower autofocus than rivals
- Unimpressive video

Great good first camera,or a great second camera that's easy to carry out
Love this camera - great quality for the price and a great first camera or perfect for someone who is tired of lugging their DSLR around everywhere.

Fujifilm X-E1
The X-E1 is one hell of a camera, leaving a few quirks aside. It is a mirrorless that can actually function as a substitute to the bulky DSLR for many users. If you're in the market for a DSLR, or want a camera system that will give you great images, then you might want to look at getting the X-E1.
Pros:
- Compact body compared to a DSLR
- Excellent image quality even at high ISO
- Well-placed dials that make accessing settings really quick
Cons:
- AF is a hit or miss at times
- Lack of any sort of controls in video recording mode

Fujifilm X-E1
In late 2012, Fujifilm announced the X-E1 - which is essentially a 30% smaller version on their flagship X-Pro1 , with a few upgrades. Meaning, the camera boasts the same 16.3-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS sensor, an EXR Processor Pro, full HD 1080p video recording, an ISO range of 100-25600, a Q...

I have spent countless dollars on cameras and until I found the XE1, I have not been completely happy. It has been a long, long time since I posted any sort of camera equipment review.
Pros:
- X-Trans Sensor
- EVF - You can see exposure
- WB
- & compensation and adjust immediately
- Outstanding kit lens - Might be the best kit lens ever
- High Quality Primes - I prefer primes and Fuji delivered early on available primes
- Like many mirrorless cameras
- adaptable to almost all legacy lenses,
Cons:
- EVF lags and streaks a little in low light
- No focus peaking - Magnification works well
- but would prefer option of magnification + focus peaking
- Fuji and Adobe pointing no working together and as a result
- Adobe didn't have a RAW converter until recent updates to Adobe Camera RAW and Lightroom,
