Small camera plays with the big boys
Awesome camera with all the trimmings including a high quality fast lens at a very reasonable price. Got it on my door steps within a week. Very pleased. Pierre Berube, Lery, Qc

Fuji X20
The Fuji X20 is an excellent premium compact and the only one Other than the Fuji Finepix X10 which precedes it and features the same lens. to have a mechanical zoom. Its lens is equivalent to 28-112mm which is suitable for a wide variety of subjects and has a rather bright maximum aperture.
Pros:
- Class-leading fast and reliable autofocus
- Very low image noise
- Excellent sharpness
- Good dynamic-range
- Conservative metering
- Nicely saturated colors
- Mechanical zoom

- Good shot-to-shot speeds
- Very responsive
Cons:
- Below average white-balance accuracy
- Not Exposure-Priority
- Incorrect preview of WB
- Wrong Live-Histogram
- Dark exposure of low-contrast scenes
- Poor optical viewfinder
- Short battery-life
- Minimal grip

X20
As the smaller brother of the X100S, the X20 has a lot to live up to - the X100S is already a Âmodern classic with its retro design and funky Âfeatures. Of course, the X20 is hardly in the same league since it has a smaller sensor, but as a premium compact camera it holds up very well against...
Pros:
- Good image quality even at high ISO settings
- well-designed and placed controls
- information overlay in optical rangefinder
Cons:
- Lens cap is easily lost
- optical viewfinder is very small

Fujifilm X20
The Fujifilm X20 is not only the camera that irons out its predecessor's orb-related imaging issues, it's also the camera that pushes image quality up a notch to class-leading levels.
Pros:
- Low ISO images are sharp and class-leading
- retro style
- great build quality
- bright and sharp f/2.0-2.8 zoom lens
- zooming optical viewfinder (OVF) with digital overlay outshines competitors
- approximate hyperfocal distance display in MF
Cons:
- No ND filter
- 85 per cent OVF only
- OVF has some distortion
- focus areas won't always display in OVF (unavoidable design constraint)
- AF-C not up to scratch

This what the X10 should have been
My experience with the X10 was disappointing to say the least but the X20 makes good all those deficiencies. Having shooting and focus information in the viewfinder makes SUCH a difference.Living in France, I always carry a man-bag so the fact that this doesn't fit into my jeans or shirt-pocket is...
Pros:
- Durable
- Great Features
- Great Picture Quality
Cons:
- No Neutral Density Filter

Fujifilm X20 review: It's all about the experience
The Fujifiilm X20 is a great choice for people looking for a well-designed photographer's camera, but the basic feature set and disappointing video might not be for everyone. Fujifilm's X20 advanced compact gets to play in the same sandbox as the company's higher-end cameras, thanks to the incorporation of the X-Trans sensor technology that originally debuted in Fujifilm's interchangeable-lens models. To fit into the camera body -- and price segment -- this replacement for the X10 incorporates a new 2/3-inch version of the sensor, albeit at the same 12-megapixel resolution.
Pros:
- A new sensor lets the Fujifilm X20 deliver better photo quality than its predecessor
- and tweaks to the design improve the shooting experience significantly.
Cons:
- The lens-twist-to-turn-on is getting old fast, and the feature set provides just the basics
- Plus the video quality disappoints.
