Underexposes outdoor photo`s

I loved the form of the camera, how you turn it on via the lens, indoor photo`s are great, but for some reason outdoor photo`s are very underexposed even in full auto, and when you brighten them up in Photoshop you introduce a lot of picture noise, and i was on the latest firmware.

Quick review - Fujifilm X20

The X20's predecessor, the X10, built a loyal following of photographers looking for a solid premium compact camera for travel or street photography. Fujifilm upped its game with the X20, providing faster handling, a better 12 megapixel X-Trans sensor, and a few tricks it learnt from the X-E1...

Awesome camera and is my perfect companion for street photography. In spite of some some reviewers complaining about the Fujifilm X20's quirks like noise above 1600 ISO and 'water colour effect' of jpeg images straight out of the camera, I think this is an absolute value for money camera.

Fujifilm X20 review

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX7 is a better video camera, and its even brighter f/1.4-2.3 lens makes up for its slightly smaller sensor to put it roughly level pegging with the X20 for photo quality. The LX7 is now available for a bargain £259 from Park Cameras (inc £30 cashback).

Fujifilm X20 review

The X20 stands out from other enthusiast compacts for many positive reasons, not least of which is a design marred only by the placement of its exposure compensation dial. Although it may be difficult to distinguish any extra detail in real-world images from those of other enthusiast compacts, lab...

Fujifilm X20 review

The gorgeously classic 12 megapixel Fujifilm X20 - like the rest of the premium X series - is a camera that has personality. It's not purely functional - indeed it's downright quirky in places - but the X20 is a camera that stands out in a sea of grey clones and we love it for that.
Pros:
  • Gorgeous design
  • Activated by twisting lens
  • Optical viewfinder
Cons:
  • Small sensor
  • Low resolution
  • Pricey
