Fujifilm FinePix X100 review Review
The Fujifilm FinePix X100 is a serious piece of photographic kit. Not only is it beautifully built, but it also offers excellent performance. Few concessions to beginners and a high price make it a specialist-only camera, though.
Pros:
- Astonishing performance
- Beautiful retro design
- Hybrid viewfinder
- High-quality construction
Cons:
- Fixed focal length
- Heavy
- Expensive

Fujifilm X100F
Fujifilm's X100 series has long been a hit with photographers. Its classic design-the first version helped to popularize the retro look for digital cameras -and optical viewfinder appeals to modern photographers who, in the past, would have opted for a compact rangefinder.
Pros:
- Crisp wide-angle lens
- Bright f/2 aperture
- In-lens ND filter
- Fast autofocus
- Hybrid optical/electronic viewfinder
- Focus select joystick
- 1/4,000-second leaf shutter
- Physical control dials
- Film Simulation modes
- Wi-Fi
Cons:
- Lens lacks stabilization
- Video limited to 1080p
- Sometimes struggles with tracking subjects

Fujifilm Finepix X100 Camera – Review
Retro may be in right now but there's something distinctly ironic about Fujifilm's X100, which combines state of the art technology with a classic rangefinder-style body echoing the looks of units from four decades back.
Pros:
- Stunning retro looks
- That amazing viewfinder
- Good control layout and handling
- Top notch image quality
- State of the art noise control
Cons:
- Slow and awkward image processor
- Not cheap

Fuji Finepix X100
The Fuji Finepix X100 is a uniquely intriguing camera. Its inconspicuous analog-camera look is alluring for its quantity of buttons and dials, promising efficiency while shooting. A one-of-a-kind hybrid viewfinder lets it have an EVF and an optical-tunnel viewfinder in the same place.
Pros:
- Superb image quality in compact size
- Extremely low noise
- Very good sharpness from wide-open
- Flexible rendition of colors and tones
- Bright lens with F/2 maximum aperture
- Real aperture ring
- Leaf-Shutter allows High-Speed-Sync
- Built-In 3-Stop ND Filter
- Plenty of external controls
- Inconspicuous...
Cons:
- Sluggish autofocus system
- Slow manual focus ring
- Severe yellow cast under tungsten lighting
- Live-Histogram shows metered exposure
- Previews metered exposure
- not actual
- Clear but pointless OVF
- Two dials needed per exposure parameter
- No AE-L with MF
- Illogical and under-used button functions,...

It's a great little camera with a few quirks

Great everywhere camera
Unlike the bulky DSLR, I can take Fuji X100 with me anywhere I go. The sensor-lens combo produces excellent image quality, better than most DSLR I used. Handling takes time to get used to. Prime lens is wonderful. I don't find myself missing the wide-angle, since there is panorama mode.

"State Of The Art, Hidden In A Retro Design"
Despite taking it up as a "option" (now there is an old term for you) when I was at school, to be honest photography has always alluded me. I'm very much a point and click kind of guy, I like a camera to focus for me, and essentially be a perfect shot.
Pros:
- As advanced or as simplistic as you want it to be
Cons:
- Almost impossible to understand manual
