Fujifilm FinePix X100

The Fujifilm FinePix X100 is no ordinary compact. Made for the high-end market, this retro-looking, magnesium alloy beast is built around a large 12.3-megapixel APS-C sized sensor and fixed 23mm F/2.0 lens (that's 35mm in equivalent terms). There's no zoom to be found here.
Pros:
  • Great image quality
  • unique design
  • great build quality
  • ingenious viewfinder
Cons:
  • Not the fastest AF
  • some macro focus issues
  • expensive
  • not for the mass market

not as good as ads says

not as good as ads says, easy to get dust inside viewfinder, even LCD screen. However, pics quality is great, same or even over the enter-level DSLR camera. Light weight fits porkect.

Fujifilm X100S Review

The Fujifilm X100 was a redefining camera for the point and shoot segment, but sadly, it shipped with many flaws. However, the X100s feels like a camera made by a company that listens to its customers.
Pros:
  • Speedy startup and AF times
  • Excellent image quality even at high ISO
  • Q button for quick access to all important features
Cons:
  • Slightly pricey
  • Lens cap is easy to lose
  • Fixed focal length lens might not be for everyone

Replaced dslr

This camera is great. For the most part it has replaced my dslr. Though not as fast, the picture it nails are phenomenal. Quality over quantity I guess. I have a two year old and I figure over 50% are keepers.

Superbra, is very satisfied. Fuji's built-in .jpeg conversion does something magical (though "grumps" the high ISO images), much much better than I've seen before.

Fast Autofocus and button customization!

I upgraded to the X100F from the X100S and I'm so glad I did! I was worried that it wouldn't be noticeably different, but the autofocus is so much faster than the X100S. I wouldn't say it's as fast as my Nikon D750, but it's really close.

Great camera

Great camera and a very nice and significant upgrade from th X100S. The user interface is vastly improved with more camera settings adjustments having the ability to be assigned to more function buttons. Photo quality with the new sensor is stunning. Highly recommend this camera.

Fujifilm FinePix X100 review: Fujifilm FinePix X100

If you have the bucks and you want the best photo quality possible, the Fujifilm FinePix X100 delivers. But definitely try before you buy to make sure the focusing systems won't make you crazy.
Pros:
  • Thanks to great photo quality, a clever hybrid viewfinder, and a cool, retro design, there's a lot to like about the Fujifilm FinePix X100.
Cons:
  • Sluggish performance, especially for such a high-priced camera, and a frustrating navigation control make shooting with the camera a lot less fluid than it should be.

Fujifilm FinePix X100 Review

The Fujifilm X100 is here, offering DSLR-like image quality and noise performance in a decidedly un-DSLR-like package. The classic rangefinder look is smart and relatively compact, at least compared to the typical DSLR. Materials, fit and finish are quite good.
Pros:
  • Very good images
  • color
  • Great features for serious shooters
  • Useful hybrid viewfinder
Cons:
  • Cost
  • Slow write times
  • AF average to a bit slow
