I got this fella a few days ago. I first got it with FW 1.30, did not notice any problems, but after reading about FW 2.00 update, I logically did it ASAP. No problems here as well. Pure joy. Still getting used to it, as it is a bit different than the cameras I am using for my regular work.

Amazing Camera
I've been taking photographs since 1950 starting with a Leica IIIf which I still have. Was dragged into digital several years ago and progressed to a Canon 5D MkIII with assorted Canon "L" lenses. Heard the rave reviews on the Fuji X100S and bought one.
Pros:
- Fast Shutter Speed
- Good in Low Light
- Great Resolution
- Small / Compact
Cons:
- Short Battery Life

Fuji X100
Use the LEICA strap . It attaches easily, and works great. Be sure to use a UV filter over the lens . The non-recessed lens of the X100 is highly vulnerable to damage without one.

This little camera is an absolute gem. The Fuji X100s has the appearance of an old rangefinder style camera but has an aps-c size sensor that you would usually find in a DSLR. The top and bottom plates are metal and all of the controls just feel right.

Fujifilm X100S Review
The Fujifilm X100S is a very good camera, geared toward photographers who really want control over almost every aspect of still image quality. Street photographers in particular will find this camera appealing.
Pros:
- Superior 16MP stills
- Excellent Hybrid viewfinder
Cons:
- Expensive
- Not geared toward casual users
- no matter how much money they have

Perfect for street photography
I own this cameras predecessor the X100. Both cameras have been designed with that retro look and feel and have a fixed lens. It's designed for those who like to move dials rather than press buttons, it's a very manual experience perfect for those who like to be into control.
