Shame about the battery
Good camera let down by poor battery life
Pros:
- Bulid Quality is good as is image quality
Cons:
- The battery on my example would only take around thirty shots before it needed to be recharged
- Very disappointing

Fujifilm FinePix F770EXR Review
The Finepix F770 EXR is a hard sell. It's equal parts fast and slow – the impressive sensor and processor mean the thing technically operates quickly, but the disappointing UI leaves you wanting more.
Pros:
- Nice chassis
- sleek design
- Small for a GPS camera
- Capable pocket superzoom
- Solid hardware features (impressive sensor technology
- fast
- powerful processor
Cons:
- In-camera UI is clunky and unintuitive
- Little low on the firmware features (no filters
- unimpressive in-camera experience
- On the pricey side for what you're getting

Fujifilm FinePix F770EXR
The Fujifilm FinePix F770EXR ($379.95 direct) is a 16-megapixel point-and-shoot camera with a long 20x zoom range. Despite packing such an ambitious lens, it's small enough to slide into your pocket, and manages to squeeze in quite a few physical controls.
Pros:
- Sharp 20x zoom lens
- Compact body
- Good control layout
- GPS
- Raw shooting support
Cons:
- Noisy photos at high ISOs

Fujifilm FinePix F770EXR
Even though the Fujifilm FinePix F770EXR is a more budget travel zoom camera than much of the recent competition it has a load of features on offer. Really decent features too: GPS, raw shooting, EXR modes, and we could go on.
Pros:
- Offers lots for the money
- 20x optical zoom
- brighter lens at telephoto end than similar competitors
- offers raw shooting
Cons:
- Lens flare issue is still a problem (as per F660 model)
- image quality a little soft
- battery life isn't great
- sensor-based stabilisation should be lens-based by now
- overexposure isn't uncommon

Fujifilm FinePix F770 EXR review
Bucking the manufacturer's recent trend for adding subtly tweaked compacts to the burgeoning travel zoom area of the camera market, Fuji has instead gone for a complete design overhaul with the FinePix F770 EXR - its latest addition to the popular F-series.

Overall a good camera, with very sharp images, impressive zoon, and a lot functionality (panorama, large shot...). However the battery drain very quickly when recording video or Panorama. It's annoying... I will see whether it is a battery defect and whether a new battery can fix that.

Fujifilm FinePix F770 EXR
While it doesn't perform as well as some of the other travel cameras in its class, the F770 EXR is great for macro shooters who want a long optical zoom and a GPS module. Unfortunately, if you shoot in JPEG exclusively, you just won't get the best out of this camera, and there's some pronounced...
Pros:
- Plenty of photo modes and options
- RAW image capture
- Good macro performance
Cons:
- Images suffer from over-processing
- Image stabilisation in video mode is not particularly effective

Fujifilm FinePix F770 EXR
The F770 is a rather svelte camera, despite the overarching reach of the 20x optical zoom packed inside. There's a small bump over the lens element, and the front of the optic protrudes slightly from the camera body, but it's still small enough overall to slip into a pocket or small bag for...
Pros:
- Plenty of photo modes and options
- RAW image capture
- Good macro performance
Cons:
- Images suffer from over-processing
- Image stabilisation in video mode is not particularly effective

Fujifilm FinePix F770 EXR
Fujifilm has updated its superzoom compacts with the FinePix F770 EXR (with GPS) and F750 EXR (without GPS). As ever, these two cameras use Fuji-made sensors-a 16-Megapixel BSI CMOS like last year's models, in fact-but 2012 sees...
Pros:
- Original shooting modes
- including EXR DR for boosting dynamic range
- Good build quality and grip
- Noise handled well
- especially in EXR SN mode
- General responsiveness once it's up and running
Cons:
- Interface is sometimes unnecessarily confusing
- EXR functions can't be used in manual mode
- Indoor shots are sometimes over-exposed
- Contrast is too high in video mode
- sound is rather confused
