Forza Motorsport 6 Review

Since 2005, Turn 10 Studios has been tasked with producing a racing simulator for Microsoft, to rival Sony's Gran Turismo. I remember playing the very first installment on the original Xbox.

It probably doesn't bear mentioning at this point, but once again, Turn 10 absolutely kills it in the graphics department; Forza Motorsport 6 looks amazing on and off the road; The cars are breathtakingly detailed, inside and out, and all of them can be further explored via Forzavista.

The loading times are quite atrocious; Coming from a game like DriveClub, a game that is certainly no slouch in the graphics department, and loads in less than half the time, it makes Forza 6's long waits a bit annoying, While the single player portion is amazing, it does suffer from complete...

Superb racing game with very few compromises

I bought Forza 6 within a couple weeks of its release over a year ago. Over that time it has never ceased to entertain and amaze me. The gameplay is wonderful. I highly recommend an Xbox steering wheel for racing games such as these but even with a controller it is fantastic.

It is the tenth anniversary of the Forza franchise and Turn 10 has come out with another amazing racing title for the Xbox One.

Game Review: Forza Motorsport 6 [XboxOne]

When the Xbox One launched in 2013, Forza Motorsport 5 was one of its launch titles. Much like the console itself, the game also had a rocky start in the new era. While the gameplay in Forza 5 was as good as any other racer in my opinion at that time, its lack of content including cars and tracks...

Addictive Gameplay; Each car feels unique; Stunning Visuals; Packed with Content+ Rain adds a sense of danger and change of approach

Over the top theatrical in-game music (thankfully you can turn it off

Racing titles have always been a bit of a hot and cold streak in my gaming history. I have enjoyed the early Gran Turismo titles as well as Need for Speed , though I will openly admit that the Burnout series has been my personal favorite as the perfect mix of arcade and simulation.

If the first Forza of this generation was all about the Turn 10 team getting up to speed with Xbox One technology, the second is all about content. Hugely expanded over its fifth outing with more than 450 cars, 26 tracks with well over 100 different configurations, and a myriad of racing activities...

With the loss of some of its personality, Forza Motorsport 6 sometimes feels like a little less than the sum of many much improved parts, and there are certain quality-of-life changes that feel increasingly overdue.

Forza Motorsport 6 Review

During the past 10 years no racing franchise has been more impactful in the genre than Forza . When Turn 10 entered the scene it changed the way gamers and developers thought about how racing games should be designed.

Stunning 60 FPS presentation; Excellent roster of over 460 vehicles; The most detailed tracks in the genre; Materials have different properties; Helpful tutorials; Sharp handling model; Night racing and rain are extraordinary; Online League and Spectator mode are welcomed additions; Many difficulty...
