Forza 3 is a game that caters for the novice and hardcore players with equal aplomb, providing those with less skill an enjoyable Sunday drive whilst pushing the gear-heads to try even harder. Some may ask what's new? The answer is not all that much, at least on the surface.

Forza 3 was an undoubted hit of 2009, one that we enjoyed playing so much, that it never got reviewed, so we thought we'd correct that. It comes in to supplant Forza 2, which launched in 2007, blending a huge variety of tracks and cars and a game we loved.

The original Forza Motorsport gave Microsoft a foot hold in the world of simulated racing; while Forza 2 brought with it a facelift and a tonne of new features. Although a step in the right direction, it never warranted the acclaim of being a true next gen title.

If you're a petrol head like myself and dream of recklessly driving expensive cars around a track but unfortunately haven't won the lottery or struck oil yet, then your next best bet is practicing and enjoying the thrills that a racing game on the Xbox 360 console can provide.

With Forza Motorsport 3 developers Turn 10 have crafted and tuned the most detailed racing simulator yet seen on the Xbox, and made it accessible to anyone.

Turn 10 revs up its engine for the third Forza instalment while TVG sits back and enjoys the ride...
