I've always been a fan of the Forza franchise...well, not always. I started out as a die-hard Gran Turismo fan. GT3 was a spectacular game with more cars than I had ever seen in a single title. The controls were terrifically accurate, and the integration with the steering wheel was spot-on.
Fun gameplay; sim-style that isn't quite as technical as actual sim; interesting world; expansive free-roam area
Half the cars are DLC and cost extra; repetitive car-specific challenges; limited control config; no split-screen racing
Good graphics considering its running on an xbox 360; car sounds are on par; and the game is not to challenging or overcomplicated
This is where most of my review will be; I feel that the xbox 360 version of this game is highly neglected compared to the next generation version; In the 360 version there is about 10% of the customization that there is on the one version.
FH1 had more personality. FH2 just feels like Crusin' Europe with a Garage. Gone are the street races, 1000 club challenges, upgrade discounts and car prizes. The races also don't require you to have a specific car type or class, which means you can play through all the races with the same car if...
Fast paced and addictive. The selection of cars to drive is amazing and each provides a different experience. Would have given 5 stars but maximum multi-player is 2 on same console. No online play available.
Have to pay $20 for the rally part and the nicer cars are a separate price. Fun game with some nice cars, just make sure to check online for the free updates on the older cars you can get for free.
The graphics are really good. You can do a lot of free roam throughout the game. Overall really good.
This game is a joke. The worst insult to the forza name possible. Terrible physics, no tuning, ruddy need for speed toolbag characters and graphics are terrible (i know it's open world, don't care, it's just another thing that sucks about his game).
The GPS in this game is actually quite good. It's a little annoying listing to the turn-by-turn directions when a good song is on that you are trying to listen to, but the GPS does a great job if getting you where you need to go.
Firstly: Notice 0 critics reviews. Coincidence? If you're expecting the same game as Forza Horizon 2 on the Xbox One, don't. It's not even developed by Turn 10/Microsoft. It was outsourced to Sumo Digital. This game is a shell of the Xbox One version. It's missing the promised free launch day DLC.
