I had an older fitbit charge HR that lastest years but finally stopped working. Got this and was pleasantly surprised. Works well, fairly accurate, good measure of sleep (I am a shift worker). battery lasts the full 6 days, simple and easy design.

if you are up for committing to a fitness band which you will wear all the time for activity and sleep tracking , this is it. sleek looking , almost accurate with measurements . would recommend
Fitbit has already proven themselves to be one of the top manufactures of fitness related gadgets. The recently released Fitbit Alta HR brings a more unique style to an already familiar design that makes it one of our fitness trackers.
Accurate step and heart rate tracking; Simple design; Intuitive app UI; Great battery life
Screen taps take a while before getting recognized; No GPS
Beautiful, but it didn't even last a week. I didn't wear the band to workout, just for casual use and work. It broke where the band attaches to the clasp.
Well I was looking for a replacement because the watch my son bought me had broken. I was keeping track of my steps so that I can be in sync with my walking week by week. Also there was a contest coming up with me and a group of ladies I wanted to make sure I had the right count.
I love my new fitbit - I did have a lot of trouble trying to sync it for the first time, however after a few hours I did manage to get it! Haven't had an issue since, love it!
I love this product. I have already lost two kgs since making this purchase. I am able to monitor all my activities and improve them when necessary or be reinforced for good deeds. I adore the accompanying app and the easy sync with other fitness apps.
bought for my grandson and he loves it
Wish I had good things to write about my new Fitbit, however, unfortunately not. Unable to turn the thing on, or charge it, let alone, get it to sync. I'm returning it. On-line Help was no help. Not Big W's fault - will see how I go though when I return it!
The hardest thing to predict about a fitness tracker when you buy it is how long you'll actually use it. Many buyers leave theirs to be forgotten in a bedside table after a few months of use.
Slim; comfortable design; Accurate heart-rate monitor; Excellent auto-recognition and recording of activities; Sleep Stages and Sleep Insights are important improvements to overall sleep data; Great battery life
No connected GPS; Not easy to see heart rate during a workout (unless heart rate is your default screen); Nighttime heart-rate data and Sleep Stages separated on two different graphs; Doesn't integrate with Apple's HealthKit
