I use this to connect my Samsung TV optical output to my stereo amplifier. It works very well. The previous converter I used was not nearly as good and failed after a couple of months.

The e03 works well and produces good sound. The only complaint I would have is the switch to go from coaxial to optical is kind of flimsy. Delivery was quick and price was great.

I purchased the D3 and received it today. Bought an optical digital audio cable seperately, hooked everything up, and all I get is a loud static/clicking noise. No TV sound. The website for FiiO is unreachable and the D3 is not working, so I have no way of finding out what is wrong with it.

I am using it to connect the audio from an LG TV 42 inches (digital output( to an external speaker (RCA input). Sound is great with high definition.

Great little unit. Plugged it into the optical out of my TV and then a set of speakers into the output of the FIIO, now everything that displays on my TV goes to some better speakers. Absolutely no lag between the tv speakers and the ones connected to this. Really happy!

Good sound, gave it 4 stars because conversion is a bit weak, needs more juice, I had to crank my receiver all the way up to get good sound, but the sound quality was fantastic

So far I am happy with my purchase. it does what it says. yes its really useful for those who have the latest LED tvs and want to connect their old good hifi/hometheater system without optical input.
