Fight Night: Champion Review | Find Me Somebody To Glove

Much in the same way that THQ have managed to monopolise the wrestling genre since No Mercy , so too has EA SPORTS' Fight Night series been the only one you can really turn to for satifying boxing action.

Stunning presentation; Tweaks to Legacy Mode are welcome; Champion Mode is a big winner..

...but really very short; Control system might not be to everyone's taste; Punching now a bit too responsive; footwork seems really sluggish at times

Dont buy this

2K sports and HBO are making a real boxing game, hold off for that. or buy older boxing games.

If you like offensive anti white words and poor game play ; 30 fps ,EA ONLINE PASS that charges you $10 to play online; xp points that cost real money too ; you might like this

All of EAs new games are coming with " EA ONLINE PASS" That means you can't play this on another system; If you buy this game used it will cost you $10 to play online; EA came up with another way to take even more money by charging people for XP points for online.

Before the launch of Fight Night Champion there was a lot talk regarding the changes within the game. As a die-hard fan of the series since it's beginnings I was expecting a lot. While EA Sports delivered needed changes, they also tinkered with things that were perfectly fine.

Fight Night Champion Review

Fight Night Champion is the fifth edition of EA Sports' highly regarded boxing franchise, and the game is noticeably darker and grittier, which is evident right from the beginning of the game.

Fight Night Champion

Another EA title, another chance to pay another subscription fee. This accessibility overview won't cover online aspects of Fight Night Champion, though with the way menus and gameplay are handled, it can be concluded that online interactions will be at a comparable level to those in the rest of the...

"Good try."

Game play is brilliant, as in all other titles in the fight night franchise. Story mode is a joke (shame as it had real potential) as there is only one path you can take, and winning or losing a fight is irralevent as it does not effect the story line one bit.

Fight Night Champion Review

First Impressions My reaction is Fight Night has been around for a while now, and for as long as many of us can remember, it has been pretty good. Without a doubt the series has been the best out of every boxing game out there.

Fight Night Champion review

Electronic Arts hopes to break the mould with its latest boxing simulator, Fight Night Champion by introducing the narrative-driven Champion mode, in addition to the more traditional Legacy mode. Has it worked?

An engaging story-driven approach; improved graphics; better game play

A lack of control in Champion mode; and a lack of variety in Legacy mode
