Having been in the video game field for more than a decade, few things confuse me, but one thing that baffles me has been the extensive interest in games like the Farming Simulator series.

Human beings are funny critters. They work all day and then spend their leisure time playing games like Farming Simulator, which emulates one of the most backbreaking, labor-and-machinery-intensive occupations on the planet.

Farming Simulator has hit the Nintendo Switch, with a modified version of the 2017 release coming to the handheld hybrid console. It's a tough game to review, because this does exactly what it says on the tin, this is an extremely faithful simulation of running a farm, for better or worse.

Fun game for all ages

Farming might not be the first option that springs to mind when thinking about which careers you'd most like to see simulated in video game format, yet this series is a hugely successful one that has been going for some time.

This game is very realistic and very addictive especially with the switchs on the go hand held abilities.

I bought this for my son. He has been playing the computer version for several years. He was excited to do it on the switch.
