Go attach a bomb to an elephant.

Been playing this for about ten hours. I have not played any of the previous Far Cry games. it is fab! The environments are superbly detailed, the interface is simple and effective and the mission structures are involving.

Christmas Gift

I purchased this as a Christmas gift that my husband wanted. He has played all of the FarCry games to date and has loved them all. Can't wait to see how he likes this one

Ready For The Yeti? Far Cry 4 DLC Review

The winner of the overall GiN Game of the Year, Far Cry 4, continues to improve and expand. Whereas the first DLC, Escape From Durgesh Prison, brought us a perma-death 30 minute thrill ride which could be extended by activities during the brief adventure, Valley of the Yetis offers more of a...

Awesome.

Far Cry 4 is an amazing game, although the story isn't the most thrilling, it keeps you entertained as you run, gun, sneak and fly through a beautiful Kyrat landscape. For me it got a little repetitive towards the end, but I had pretty much completed everything in the game, so it's not a big issue.

Far Cry 4 Review

Pagan Min is a nasty piece of work. He is the vain and arrogant despot that welcomes you to the fictional Himalayan nation of Kyrat with a depraved display of violence. Min is a horrific man, and you are meant to despise him--or at least, it would seem so until he ends his tirade by inviting you to...

A big world filled with ways to create your own excitement; Cooperative play opens up fun new options; Great economy keeps you moving and exploring

Awful story; awful characters; questionable themes; Constant nagging at odds with the freeform sandbox

Far Cry 4 review: New heights. Literally

Far Cry 4 borrows a lot from the last game, but it adds enough excitement, fresh ideas and a brilliant new landscape to warrant the return trip.

Far Cry 4 offers an amazing environment to traverse and explore; It features ultra-satisfying first-person-shooter gameplay along with new vehicles and equipment.

The main character is underwhelming and it has a nearly identical game structure to Far Cry 3; including cookie-cutter enemy design and archetypes

Far Cry 4 Review

Far Cry 4 has learned a lot from its predecessor, taking the solid gameplay, exploration, and villainy to a new location: the battle-ridden Kyrat, where Ajay Ghale has returned home to scatter his mother's ashes and fulfil her dying wish.

A wonderful open world playground to explore alone or co-operatively; Pagan Min is a superb villain in an enjoyable story; Verticality of the world changes the gameplay for the better; Visuals are often sublime; Tons to do and collect; with a map editor to add more longevity

Some glitches and pop-in; as well as poor checkpointing and difficulty spikes; Multiplayer isn't anything special; It's a little bit too familiar for Far Cry 3 players
