Far Cry 4

The Far Cry series has a unique pedigree. From the very first title, it became the embodiment of cutting edge graphics and established the standard to which all other titles were compared.

Far Cry 4 Review - Explore The Region of Kyrat As You Meet New Characters, Liberate Outposts, Ride an Elephant and Much More

Far Cry 4 does little to improve on the Far Cry 3 formula but there are enough additions and fun to be had to warrant a purchase.

Far Cry 4 Review

It's hard to believe that the Far Cry series started ten years ago with a tropical island and a story about mutants. As a series, it's travelled a long way since then, from the more serious overto

Fantastic characterisation; Visually incredible; Will make you feel guilty; and thus care; like no other game

Open-world exploration could be more enticing; Missed co-op opportunity; Map revealing towers are getting old now

Far Cry 4 review – open world?cooperative

It may not bring many new ideas to the table but this is a hugely enjoyable open world shooter, with the best co-op options in the genre.

Fantastic open world environment that's a pleasure to explore, especially with the great vehicles and fun weapons; Excellent co-op and interesting story branching

Very similar structure and features to Far Cry 3; None of the characters are sympathetic and some may cause offence; Hunting certainly will if you love animals

Far Cry 4: PlayStation 4

The setup for Far Cry 4 is straight out of a ropey action movie. You play the role of protagonist Ajay Ghale, a regular guy returning to Kyrat in...

Beautiful; Chaotic fun; Smart gameplay additions; Huge amount of content

Occasional bad mission; Dull PvP multiplayer; Glitches

The Far Cry series has come a long way since the days of Jack Carver and genetically engineered monsters. He was a game protagonist from an earlier time. He had a dark ex-military past, his goal was to rescue a damsel in distress, and the islands where he plied his trade existed solely to serve the...

Far Cry 4 is a stunning iteration in the series that manages to bring forth great gameplay, superb visuals, and a pretty good story with a fabulous villain. While the competitive multiplayer may not feel all that great and there are some lackluster story missions, overall you'll have a great time...

Huge open world; Absolutely gorgeous visuals; Entertaining side quests; Plenty of activities

Some story missions are tedious; Competitive multiplayer isn't that entertaining; Not enough screen time for Pagan Min

Far Cry 4 Review – Liberate Kyrat While Riding an Elephant… So Much Win

Badgers and tigers and bears, oh my! Far Cry is back and deadlier than ever on the latest generation of consoles. What this iteration may lack in new features, it absolutely makes up for with improved content and a beautiful world.

Far Cry 4 -The iLL Duo Review

Or India Se Kyrat: A Far Cry 4 Diary: Day 7 Once in a while, a game comes along that gets the iLL Staff so hyped, we write spoilerific diaries of our playthroughs. And more than one of us wants [...]

TR; Dynamic; living breathing sandbox; Some interesting missions and choices; Looks finished; unrushed and progressive to the franchise soul; Carnage: The single handed grenade launcher; buzzers and charging elephants vs raging rhinos

TR; Cliched dialogues; weak protagonist and crumbling storyline; Pagan's light rarely shines; Bugged dynamic events and contextual prompts; Server Connectivity

Far Cry 4

Ubisoft has been quite ambitious to release three open world games within days of one another, and so far, we at Action Trip have been fairly pleased with the Assassin's Creed games that the publisher/developer has released.

Beautiful scenery; large open world with seemingly unending side quests; and a fully interactive and immersive environment make Far Cry 4 one of the best shooters of the year

The assumptions required for the story weaken it overall; the co-op occasionally feels to be more of a necessity than an option; and the eagles dropping out of nowhere to smack you around is just cheap (damn those eagles)
