The very beginning kind of sucks until you get a weapon

I have a sort of love/hate relationship with the Far Cry series. On one hand, it stands for what I think is sadly missing from many shooters (games in general actually). It lets you tackle things your own way.

Superb island playground to wage war in; Some staggeringly good characters and voice work; Skill unlocks give feeling of growing ability; The last part of the game is a huge let down; Some annoying AI issues

It is ok. It is hard to find any waepons, so far I havn't spent much time playing it as a result.

I have only played for about 3 hours and I am already enjoying this game more than most. It has a large variety of things to do without confusing me of what to do first. Very well done game.

Lots of reviewers are gushing about this game. I like the game and recommend it, especially for the prices on eBay. That said, here's what I don't like about it: 1) The game world is huge but the story missions have you only exploring about half of it.
