Timeless enjoyment

I've one through on multiple playthroughs and play styles with this game. I dare say nearly as many as Skyrim. The simple main focus of fusing your son is paired brilliantly in the travelers you meet and the plights they face as side quests. By the way there is a plethora of them as well.

(PlayStation 4 Review) Fallout 4

Fans of the series will no doubt be overjoyed to note that the core spirit of the last few titles remains mostly intact with Fallout 4 , though its deviations may prove to be jarring for some.

Fallout 4: Far Harbor Review

Going back to the very start of Fallout 4 , Bethesda's follow-up to Fallout 3 and New Vegas took on a different aspect of surviving a nuclear holocaust, one that was more focused on an internal journey than just keeping ghouls and super mutants at bay.

A rich story with layered player choice; better than the main game; Themes that tackle contemporary issues are what great sci-fi should be; Memorable new characters; Adds shading to Fallout's best companion; Nick Valentine; Lots of side missions; even one that can be done once you leave Far Harbor

Fallout 4 review - a story of family, settlements, and power armor

"There's no way Bethesda is announcing Fallout 4 for this year. Every time they announce a new game we see it behind closed doors, and then they release it the next holiday season," I remarked to my team at E3 2015, citing experience culled from over a decade of working with the Maryland-based...

Crafting / Modding / Building engine is amazing; Enemies are dangerous and slightly smarter; Goodbye desaturated greens and browns; Solid voice work

NPCs remain two-dimensional and dull; Side quests quality varies wildly; Some bugs and audio repetition/glitching; Two hard lockups on XB1; zero on PC

Game Review: Fallout 4

7 years! It's hard to believe that we've been waiting 7 long years for a direct sequel to our beloved Fallout 3 . So after feeling like we've been napping in a cryo-chamber located deep within an underground vault, Fallout 4 is finally here and I can tell you straight off the bat fellow Vault...

A strong variety of missions and side-activities; Creating your settlements is a therapeutic blast; Weapon variety is increased by its customisation options; You can create some great unique characters with the create feature; Vocal lead character helps you feel more invested in the story

Suffers with some odd glitches; NPC facial animation isn't all that new-gen

Fallout 4

It may not be your daddy's Fallout but it's an amazing experience nonetheless.

Stunning graphics; great new setting for series; interesting enemies; intruiging plot; intense set pieces; huge amount of content; new power armor mechanics are great

Facial animations can look weird; settlement system is a bit of a hassle; character leveling system feels like it creates weak characters

Fallout 4 is too big for me to tell you even a fraction of all there is to say about it. Its user interface is often too opaque, and at times Fallout 4 has some of the same technical issues as Bethesda's previous games, from strange AI quirks to performance hitches and actual hard locks of the...

The blue sky turned bland, and the sun faded behind a thick, green smog. I'd seen this kind of thing before. It was a radiation storm. Lightning snapped down in the distance but swirled closer to my location.

Fallout 4

The next generation of Bethesda Softworks' particular brand of open-world role-playing games has arrived, and the wait has absolutely been worth it. Depth, poignancy, excitement, mature storytelling. Fallout 4 has it all, and more.

Fallout 4

The Fallout series is immensely popular and for the most part the games have been impeccable. But as Fallout 4 was presented at E3 the thing that probably got people just as excited as the prospect of the game itself was the fact that it was coming out this year.
