Unexpectedly engrossing. Heed the mockers and you'll miss one of the PC's finest and freshest driving games.

This game, at first glance, seemed like it had little to offer. You drive a truck. What fun... But, after playing it for over 40 hours, I have come to quite enjoy the game. It isn't stressful or aggravating; you just drive a truck from point A to B.

I never thought a truck-driving simulator games could be fun, but Euro Truck Simulator 2 proved me wrong. There is something soothing in watching the world go by from the high and mighty cockpit of a Volvo FH16 Globetrotter XL.

My truck is idling at a stoplight. This isn't Grand Theft Auto V or Watch Dogs, so I can't just nose my way between lanes and drive through the red light. In Euro Truck Simulator 2, obeying the rules is part of the gameplay. The fine I'd incur for running a red light isn't worth the time I'd save.

I definitely know my way around a simulator.  Another member of the GamingShogun.com family used to be known for them but somewhere along the line I slipped into the driver seat, quite literally in most cases, and I now have a nice solid butt groove in it.

This is the best game at this point, there are more on the way but at the moment it is the best. A lot to do does not get boring and gives what the experience of a trucker is, long drives to different cities the map is very large.
