Epson Expression Photo HD XP-15000 Wide-Format Inkjet Printer

Typically, to get wide-format fine art and photos, you'd need to buy your own professional-quality photo printer or rent time on one at a service bureau. The former option is not only costly to purchase (starting at about twice the price of the XP-15000), but also the ink itself (keeping in mind...

Excellent photo quality; Prints borderless images from 4 by 6 inches to 13 by 19 inches; Uses new Claria Photo HD inks; Small and light for an oversize printer

Running costs a bit high; Prints speeds are slower than the competition

GR8 PRINTER

This printer prints high quality photos. It was more than I expected and I saved a bundle by ordering from B&H . I am not a professional , but the quality of these prints are amazing and very sharp with details. I look forward to printing more great photos with this printer.

Beautiful Prints. Lots'a ink.

As an professional architectural photographer, I often provide clients with large 13x19 prints, suitable for hanging/display. This Epson really delivers in reproductive quality, no complaints. Unfortunately, the turn-over rate of the ink cartridges is extreme -- and expensive. Good news/bad news.

Epson Expression Photo HD XP-15000: A great photo printer

These days, plenty of web services can turn your digital photos into glossy prints, but keen photographers will know that there's nothing like a high-quality printer for getting an image just so.

Print wirelessly; Sensational performance on photo paper

No memory card slots; Not cheap to run

The print quality is great but the build quality is flimsy. The wi fi method of connection is also dodgy. Once the printer goes to sleep the computer can't find it a day or so later.

Epson Expression Photo HD XP-15000

Epson Australia announced the Expression Photo HD XP-15000 just as we were completing our review of the EcoTank Expression Premium ET-7750 multi-function printer . We mentioned the XP-15000 in the conclusion to that review as being more suitable for photographers because of its wider colour gamut...

Disappointed

I bought this printer over a week ago and the setup was fairly easy and initial prints looked really good. However after a few prints I started noticing ink streaks on the top right of the photo paper. This was minimal in some cases and worse in other.

I have never in my life been so upset in a purchase. I can not only get the printer to not print in any sizes above 8.5 x 11 because apparently the printer must be in such perfect alignment that the vernal equinox can be seen from all points in the universe for it to accept the paper, but the touch...
