Epson WorkForce WF-7710 Wide-Format All-in-One Printer

The bottom line: The Epson WorkForce WF-7710 is a fine printer with formidable competition, and its WF-7720 sibling, at just $50 more, is a better value. And making matters worse, the next step up, its WF-7720 sibling, at just $50 more, is a better value.

Prints up to 13-by-19-inch pages; Scans, copies, and faxes multipage, two-sided originals up to 11 by 17 inches; Auto-duplexing ADF and scanner; Large, easy-to-use control panel; Good overall print quality

High cost per page; Graphics printing could be better; Only one paper cassette

Exceeded my expectations

The WF-7710 so far is the best printer I've ever owned. I had an HP OfficeJet all-in-one that was constantly frustrating and slow, and a LexMark before that which was worse. Speed of printing, ease of setup, and perfect behavior in its many modes (document feed scan/copy, two-sided printing, tabloid...

Machine has lots of features but a worthless users manual.

This machine replaced a much older Epson desktop printer. The WF-7710 has lots of features, however, the 60+ page users manual is only available online and is of little help. The paper cassette tray will hold various sizes of paper and envelopes, but there is NO information in the manual and the...

Epson WorkForce WF-7710DWF review: A best buy

Sensibly priced, with good performance, good results, reasonable running costs and a great selection of features, the WorkForce WF-7710DWF is an excellent choice for a micro-office that works extensively with A3 documents. It's a Best Buy.

Sensibly priced; Fast performance and good results; Works extensively with A3 documents

Photo prints not a fort; Only one paper cassette

Buy this if you want dumb scanning software!

I bought this mostly to scan documents. Epson claims the doc feeder can handle 35 individual pages...but there's no point loading up the doc feeder because however many individual pages you feed through, the software only recognizes it as one document!

Epson WorkForce WF-7710 Wide-Format All-in-One Printer Review

The Epson WorkForce WF-7710 Wide-Format All-in-One Printer ($249.99) is a super-tabloid all-in-one (AIO) capable of borderless prints up to 13 by 19 inches. It also scans, copies, and faxes up to tabloid size (11 by 17 inches). However, the WF-7710 costs significantly more to use than our Editors' Choice Brother MFC-J6935DW, and its paper capacity is less than half. It's worth considering the WF-7710 if you need to print super-tabloid size pages (the Brother model can only handle up to tabloid size), but otherwise, the Epson is a perfectly good printer that faces some very stiff competition. An Impressive Feature Set Measuring 13.4 by 22.3 by 32.2 inches (HWD) and weighing 40.8 pounds, the WF-7710 ($175.91 at Amazon UK) can hold 251 sheets via a 250-sheet paper tray up front and a 1-sheet override tray on the back. It's essentially the same printer as its sibling, the WorkForce WF-7720, minus one 250-sheet paper tray. The Brother MFC-J6935DW, on the other hand, supports 600 shee...

The Epson WorkForce WF-7710 prints, copies, and scans wide-format pages with ease, but it doesn't quite stand up to its formidable competition.

Prints up to 13-by-19-inch pages; Scans, copies, and faxes multipage, two-sided originals up to 11 by 17 inches; Auto-duplexing ADF and scanner; Large, easy-to-use control panel; Good overall print quality
