Definitely Exceeded Expectations
My most happy investment yet! (paid 799 and insurance) You'd probably want to buy some sort of dvd or home theater receiver, because you're going to want hook up most nearly everything to this little thing (it only has inputs and 1 HDMI input#.
Pros:
- Numerous adjustable features
- ease of use
- low maintenance
- value
- size/weight
- lamp life
- crisp image
Cons:
- inputs/outputs

A W E S O M E .
JUST DO IT- YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.
Pros:
- Purchased for home and professional presentation use
- I did a months worth of research prior to the purchase
- My budget was $750.00 and I was looking for something that was portable for providing professional presentations and had the ability to be used for home theater use...
Cons:
- NONE

Great Value
It's a very nice and obviously portable unit from Epson for the money, and very easy setup with both the iPad and A/V inputs. The clarity was better than I expected and it was very easy to 'true' the image.

WOW!
This a practical projector that works well on several fronts. It is full of great features and is definitely worth the value. Its bright enough to use during the day, but its contrast is high enough to view at night in a theatre environment.

If the projector is at an awkward angle, the projectors lens can be tilted around corners practically. A slider on top of the MegaPlex lets you bend light and make you feel like a Vegas magician.
Pros:
- The 3LCD display is refreshingly crisp and as bright as a dying sun
- Built-in pair of 10-watt speakers provided audio that was both loud and of good quality
- When playing videos the projector can handle both bright and dark scenes well, and colours were rich without being oversaturated
Cons:
- It's not full-HD and not 1080p

Epson MegaPlex MG-850HD Projector
Although you can use a projector plus an adapter to display video or photos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, the Epson MegaPlex MG-850HD Projector ($799 direct) does it one better.
Pros:
- Very good data and video image quality
- Docks with and projects from your Apple mobile device
Cons:
- A little too heavy to be easily portable
- Could use a VGA connector to use with computers that lack an HDMI port

Review: Epson MegaPlex MG-850HD
Armed with one of Apple's video-out adapters , you can connect your iDevice to any projector and cobble together a poor-man's home theater. Or you can connect your iDevice to Epson's MegaPlex MG-850HD and enjoy an awesome-man's home theater.
Pros:
- Docks Apple devices and plays all the media within
- Movies sound great and look even better
- Simple controls on both the projector and its onscreen menus
- Clever "coffee break" button pauses the video but turns the image white so you can find your way in the dark.
Cons:
- iPad use requires a clunky plastic bracket
- Remote doesn't work with apps like Netflix, and only some of its buttons are backlit
- Some of the best third-party video apps aren't compatible

Epson MG-850HD
A decent entry-level LCD projector with some clever features, but if you don’t need the dock you can find 1080p at this price

Epson MG-850HD review
Epson's latest entry-level LCD projector has an integrated iPhone and iPad dock, so is intended to live on a coffee table or bookshelf rather than be screwed to the ceiling. The pop-out docking tray will support any iPod, iPhone or iPad, letting you play photo slideshows, music and videos from...
