If the projector is at an awkward angle, the projectors lens can be tilted around corners practically. A slider on top of the MegaPlex lets you bend light and make you feel like a Vegas magician.
Pros:
- The 3LCD display is refreshingly crisp and as bright as a dying sun
- Built-in pair of 10-watt speakers provided audio that was both loud and of good quality
- When playing videos the projector can handle both bright and dark scenes well, and colours were rich without being oversaturated
Cons:
- It's not full-HD and not 1080p

The Epson MegaPlex MG-850HD is a portable digital-dock projector and speaker combo, compatible with existing Apple devices using the 30-pin connector (but not the iPhone 5 which uses the new "Lightning port"). It also features HDMI and RCA connectors for input from other devices.

Fantastic projector
I've lived with this projector now for around 8 months. It's, overall, a fantastic piece of kit; of course it's my first projector so I do not have any basis for comparison. It took me 3 months to finally choose this particular model.

Epson MG-850HD review
It's a nice idea. With no cables or peripherals needed, it's now even easier to bore friends with iPhone holiday snaps or shaky-cam vids of the kids dancing. Simply pop your iWhatever on the dock and away you go.
Pros:
- Bright, colourful pictures
- convenient iPod playback
- easy to set up and use
Cons:
- Blacks could be deeper
- HD only 720p
- speakers too tinny for music
- a bit noisy
