Performance is good once the machine has been set up. Have only given 2 stars because setting up (for both a cable connection and a wireless connection) is challenging and not straightforward. It would be helpful if : 1. The necessary USB cable connector from printer to computer was included in the box. 2. There was a paper booklet copy of the manual and not just an online copy. 3. It is easy to get lost moving between computer screen instructions instructions to printer screen instructions during the set up sequence. 4. Paper feed was a problem when printing emails - printer screen kept showing a paper feed fault despite the set-up being correct. Frustrating!

At the recommendation of a friend I purchased this printer as I needed one that’s simple to use with copy (B & W, colour) & scan options + Wifi. Not being tech-savvy I needed someone to help set it up but now it’s up & running, am able to print easily to iPhone, iMac & laptop. Good quality print & scanning quality looks good too. Only downside will be the on-going cost of ink replacement but knew this when I bought the printer. All-in-all a great little all-in-one unit for simple print, copy & scan jobs at home.

I'm am incredibly disappointed in both Epson and the retailer for selling this printer to me. During set up it ran out of black ink so I went back to the store to buy some and there is none in the country. There is no date when some maybe available and I've was told by the retailer it could be weeks or months. I totally understand supply chain issues due to Covid-19 but how can you continue to recommend and sell a printer that you can't buy ink for! At least take it off the shelves if you know that the consumables aren't available. This whole experience has left me deeply disappointed.

The setup was straight forward as it shows step by step on the screen. it Doesn't take too long to configure and set up from the alignment to connecting via phone or computer. however.. if using with a cellphone you need to download 2 apps to use it (The main and an additional) which obviously requires space .... and the only other thing is the fact it has a software disc still ....for installation via computer which is a bit annoying considering a lot of laptops don't have cd anymore.. mine included.. all in all its a good printer

Thanks JB Hifi for shipping quickly during a very busy time. I just needed a fair priced printer with fair priced ink in a pinch for working from home. The printer is compact and has clean lines for easy cleaning. The print quality is average, however, I have not printed on high quality so it could be better than I realise. Even at standard quality, it does have good line weight definition though and the colour is fine. The instructions leave you a little high and dry, so someone who hasn't much experience with installing printers could find it frustrating. I used the installation CD provided initially but ended up uninstalling it and ignoring their suggestions for wifi connection to the PC. Devices were really easy to set up though. I ended up just adding the printer through Windows and going from there. Going to Epson to download drivers etc. I did need to add a program for scanning, which is available from Epson too.
