I absolutely adore this game greatest ever made

It has been five and a half years since hit the Xbox 360. In that time, other developers have tried to capture the same open world Western RPG magic on consoles, but no one else has really been truly successful.

The name ‘Bethesda' is one that is familiar in many gaming households across the globe and, if you don't know who Bethesda are, then you should.

Bethesda have done well this console-generation, releasing a plethora of excellent games, such as internally developed Fallout 3 and, most recently published Dishonored from Arkane Studios.

Stunning locations to visit

- Main quest is too short

More than a year after the release of Skyrim, the game is still going strong. It's one of my favorite games at any rate. So, of course I gladly accept an excuse to stay up until the wee hours of the morning being the Dovahkiin.

Skyrim it's unlike any other midevil you've ever played I mean for one the backstory at the beginning and there starts the untold story of the dragon and there's all sorts of animals you wouldn't get in modern games like cod or halo instead you find yourself fighting dragons wearwolfs skeletons...

You are a character in an immense 3d virtual world, and the savior of it. As Dovahkiin, you are the only one who can kill once-and-for-all Alduin The World-Eater. Overall, an amazing game, but be prepared for utter addiction and/or obsession with it.

Great Gameplay; Bad Language toggle; so no bad words are said by the game; full virtual world; not backdrops; one of the best games in the past 10 years at least; great variety of character types and playstyles to chose from

bugs; glitches; the usual; also some problems with items not appearing; broken quests; etc

you will get it much cheaper elsewhere

price too high

As for standard spells, they come in the usual schools of magicka: destruction (zap skeletons with sparks!), conjuration (summon a giant frost atronach!), alteration (light the way ahead!), and so on.

Immense world stuffed with varied tasks to perform; Dragon battles are a blast; Lovely art design capped by some beautiful; atmospheric touches; Enjoyable battles that you can approach in a variety of ways; Lots of compelling; self-contained stories to experience in addition to the main one

Glitches and bugs frequently disrupt the immersion; Friendly AI is often more of a hindrance than a help

This game has been out for awhile, but that doesn't lessen the fun. This game is immense. It just goes on and on. You could play it for months as I did and still find new places to explore, new bad guys, new missions.
