It's the Journey, not the Destination

First, I want to acknowledge that The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim can be a frustrating game. It features an abundance of crippling bugs. A poorly designed user interface makes basic actions like equipping weapons and sorting through save files a pain.

The culmination of the Dark Brotherhood questline

Being spoken to as a Nord; even though I'm an Argonian

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Dragonborn review

The next DLC pack for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim invites players to journey off the coast of Morrowind, to the island of Solstheim, and do battle with their deadliest foe yet. Ben Allan ventures back into Tamriel to square off against the first Dragonborn.

Engaging main questline and location; Memorable villains and characters; Lots of new things to see, find, harvest, explore, kill, make, and hit people with

"Another ancient Nordic ruin?" The execution of Dragon riding is disappointing.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (Xbox 360)

Pros: Excellent Graphics. Open world is huge and everything is so detailed. A much better gameplay experience than Oblivion. Beautiful soundtrack. Cons: Load times (ex. walking in and out of a house takes too long) Still no online play. Amount of quests can be overwhelming.

Great for Young and Old

You are a character in an immense 3d virtual world, and the savior of it. As Dovahkiin, you are the only one who can kill once-and-for-all Alduin The World-Eater. Overall, an amazing game, but be prepared for utter addiction and/or obsession with it.

Great Gameplay; Bad Language toggle; so no bad words are said by the game; full virtual world; not backdrops; one of the best games in the past 10 years at least; great variety of character types and playstyles to chose from

bugs; glitches; the usual; also some problems with items not appearing; broken quests; etc

Dawnguard review: Our verdict on Skyrim's first DLC

A worthy chunk of DLC that fills Skyrim's already packed world map with new gear, enemies, and quests.

Over 20 hours of gameplay; Expanded vampire powers; New weapons to craft

Reused dungeon assets; Vampire Lord controls need work; Dawnguard quest not as fun

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dawnguard Review

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim excelled at providing a vast array of different environments to explore. The role-playing game's first downloadable add-on, Dawnguard, ups the ante. One of this mini-expansion's greatest joys is its new areas.

Excellent new areas to explore; A number of great individual moments; Being a vampire lord can feel gleefully evil

Being a vampire lord can also be a headache; Too many bugs

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dawnguard Review

I know what you're thinking. After seven months of playing through The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and knocking out around 300 hours of content you're starting to feel a little gypped. I mean, only 300 hours? What the hell was Bethesda trying to pull anyway?

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Hearthfire

Home sweet home. Or something like that.

+ Added depth + Bigger houses + Different rooms

- Not a lot of customisation options - Limited appeal to casual gamers

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - Dragonborn (X360) - Review

Dawnguard , whilst being an excellent piece of downloadable content that brought a lot of extra content to the world of Skyrim, was no Shivering Isles or Bloodmoon . Dragonborn is more comparable to those previous grand expansions, and even emulates Bloodmoon by bringing the Dragonborn hero to the...
