The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim takes place two hundred years after Oblivion.  Instead of portals to the underworld opening up, dragons are suddenly appearing and are laying waste to helpless towns not equipped to handle their attacks.  That's where you, the Dragonborn, come into this epic story.

Vast and beautiful world to explore with many caves, dungeons, and crypts to delve into;  Great story, voice acting, and artificial intelligence makes this game fun and believable

It's not as graphically ground breaking as I would have hoped, but the world is still well designed and breathtaking regardless;  The menu system is crippled and is an obvious port from the console versions of the game

The word Epic does not do this game justice!

I bought this game on a whim. My friend had bought it and kept taking the mick out of me for only ever really playing COD type games or Forza. So I bought into what he was saying about this and don't regret it one minute. I'm not a stranger to RPG's.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Review

Skyrim's fornaldarsagas (Norse myths) are wet fantasy watercolors. Dragons circle the icy fortress of Himinbjorg, raining fiery breath on the svelte Nordic swimsuit models below, but the old flying lizards tremble at the liberal brush, extinguishing red hot flames with electric blues.

Mammoth artist's canvas; Rich player customization; Emergent narratives abound

Short 'main' story; Rare glitches

17th November 2011 - Ladies and gentlemen, have you ever wanted something more? Something more than your boring 9 to 5 grind? Something more than getting stuck in traffic on the way to work every morning, or having a detailed routine to ensure you wake up at the right time?

Knocked out of the park

Amazing, simply amazing. I have waited for this game since I beat oblivion. Skyrim has a lot to live up to and it delivers in almost every way. A lot of folks are dissapointed at the map system, but I love it.

RPG Epic Enter The Dragon Anyone who is even half interested in RPGs has been salivating at the prospect of a new game and coming hot on the heels of the fantastic the bar has been set at a level where disappointment seemed to be the only possible result.

I took an arrow to the knee...

It's easy to sit and point to the bugginess and cry foul, and in a lot of cases, that would be justified. But there is no denying the incredible depth Skyrim offers. There is just so much to see and do within this game; and you can easily bank on over a hundred hours of gameplay - several hundred...

Skyrim Reviewed

Oblivion , for all its faults, was at the time a masterpiece in how to make a game. Skyrim aims to go one better, and fans of the Elder Scrolls series have no need to worry as this is not only a contender for game of the year but possibly the best game to ever grace this generation of consoles.

The Same... But Better

I'm going to keep this succinct and to the point. Fans of the series will love this game, there's no doubt about that. The leveling system has been greatly improved upon, the graphics are superb and the story-line combines elements of old (dragons) with new twists (shouts).

Challenging; Easy To Learn; Engaging Story Line; Fus Ro Dah; Gameplay; Graphics; Great Sound

No Multiplayer Mode; No Online Play
