Best game I've played hands down. It's the first open world game that allows you to do nearly anything you'd like where and when you'd like to do it. The longer you play the more addictive the game is -I've played well over 1000 hours to date and keep going over and over finding new things to do.

Open World where you can go where you want, do what you want, whenever you want; DLC expandable; endless missions and side missions; create your own potions/gear/weapons; a variety of "unique" enemy types; magicka development; progressive barter system; excellent story

Some console issues: disc freeze i.e. game gets "stuck"; slow performance

Great if you dont have a good PC. Highly recommended game overall. Story is about you stopping a dragon that is terrorizing Skyrim. Endless side quests and fun things to do!

The game came in perfect condition. I've played it for 3 days so I could write a proper review. The DLCs download fine (unless you have previously installed one or more, then you might run into some problems) and quickly. IMPORTANT: INSERT DISC 2 TO DOWNLOAD DLCS THEN PLAY DISC ONE.

Elder Scrolls had always been a favorite of role-playing enthusiasts. But one thing Bethesda is notorious for is making something that isn't functional, but rather just nice to look at. But never had they released a game as broken as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Beside what already been said in the main review, I like how you can see red mountain volcano, you can see the landscape damaged by the result of it while the other part untouched because of the mountain side protection, I would guess.

OMG! DRAGONS! SHOUTING! FUHS DO RAAAAHHHHHH!!! I thoroughly enjoy the quality of the Elder Scrolls series. Game play mechanics are of course somewhat buggy, but the content of the story and the vast open world more then make up for. Huzzah Bethesda!

Great-FUN game....takes up almost all memory in Xbox...and it sucks the (Let's go Outside) outa my kid. He gets Way too mesmerized, and have to ground him from it occasionally.

It is like the not exactly the perfect game more like the prototype just imagine how great dishonored will be it just may be the perfect game BETHESDA ROCKS!!!

Hearthfire is a simply O.K DLC. It allows you to build your own house and "customize" it. The problem is, it's one massive time sink. There isn't much true customization, and not a massive load gets added to the game. It does at least give you something extra to do or spend money in.

I bought this game for my teenaged son after reading a review that it was one of the top-rated games of 2011. He loves it, and I consider it a purchase well made.
