I bought this dongle so I could set up a wireless hotspot on my PC and it works flawlessly! I can connect my phone and it works fine!
Nice design and very unobtrusive. I use it to back up my built-in WiFi adaptor, which is unreliable and drops out. (Its not my service since all other devices work fine). I find it does not seem to give as fast a service as my built in adaptor when that is working.
Great - Works without a problem on linux.
Received Item as described, using the enclosed Mini CD drivers, I had no problems hooking up to my wireless service. This turned out to be a nice unit and will pick one more. Thanks for your market product.
I purchased this device for my desktop so I could pack up my 10m Ethernet cord, finally. In addition, I chose this device since it is still compatible with 802.11b and g, compared to most 802.11n only devices. This device works perfectly without any problems.
I've used this on Kodi and Raspbian (Jesse) and it has worked without having to download or install anything. The included mini-cd is for installing on a computer. I have used this on a windows 10 desktop and it works well, picking up wifi on the other side of the house through a couple walls.
It used to work fine but after a while the black plastic broke off for no obvious reason leaving the internals exposed and eventually rendering the device useless. You can probably find a better built adapter.
