Really easy to install, I highly recommend getting fully modular. 80+ good is nice, I use my computer 5+ hours daily for games and coding courses and my first electricity bill was around $50 USD. We had the ceiling and tower fan going literally 24/7. Those were the 3 main uses of our power.

Almost nobody makes their own PSU these days with respect to Corsair, EVGA, etc. The Superflower platform is one of the best and the new EVGA (vs the G2) may not seem all that different on the outside vs. the new G3 platform has an infilter and a slightly better fan. This one also has a eco button.

Just installed the PSU. Immediately after turning it on, easily doubled the noise from my tower. All that time spent researching quiet case fans, wasted. Its not a bad bearing or anything, its just spinning really fast. I haven't tried "eco" mode yet, but that's a feature I didn't want to use.

Amazing product. Great improvement over my last power supply. It's so quiet I actually forget to turn off my computer sometimes. I had never used a modular power supply so it took a little bit of time set up.
