Sennheiser GSP 500 review: a strong case for open-back gaming headsets

The GSP 500 is the spiritual successor to the ever-popular Sennheiser GAME One headset. Sennheiser is well-know for definition in the high-end, but thanks to the open-back design and a few tweaks to the profile, the GSP 500 pulls off a natural, airy timbre, with just a little more bass than you...

Sennheiser GSP 500 High-end Open-backed Gaming Headset - Black - with noise-cancelling microphone for PC & Console Gaming

At only 32ohms this powers up fine with onboard sound on my Z370-H and sounds amazing. I've really missed having good headphones for listening to music with, as been using competitors 'gaming headsets' in the past due to wanting convenient mic.

Amazing crystal clear sound

I bought these headsets after some great online reviews. They sound amazing on Xbox one x. I also own a PS4 pro where they sound great however wish the volume can go a little higher for PS4. No regret in purchasing.

Sturdy build; Comfortable; Fairly balanced sound; Can hear outside environment at lower volumes; Clear communication; On ear volume controls; Dual cables included for multi-platform use; Sturdy build; Comfortable; Leatherette/suede-like earpads very comfortable; Decent; balanced sound; Clear...

Could use more padding in the headband; Sound a bit hollow; Lacking bass; Single pole console cable can be a bit short if using with a laptop; Bulky design; Could use more padding in the headband; Single pole console cable can be a bit short if using with a laptop; Bulky design

This product has great build quality

This set provides great build quality and sound. Coming from the budget Massdrop/Sennheiser PC37X you can immediately feel the difference in quality. To go a long with the great quality the 500s also provide great sound and an amazing sound stage.
