We use our Dyson floor vac for the carpets, and use the V6 for virtually everything else, including quickie carpet touch-ups. It works great for cleaning the truck and car floors without having to drag out a corded vacuum.

I bought this for my motor coach. it is easy to store underneath. I like the 2 speeds, carpet and tile floor. the only negative is I have difficulty taking it apart, my husband has to do it.

Picked up a ton of dust my other vac didn't. Been sneezing less since getting the vac. It's so strong on the max setting its even hard to move, it's so powerful!

This light weight dyson vacuum cleaner is perfect for me. My old vacuum cleaner was getting old so I treated myself to my dyson V6 , the difference to my flooring was just great.

After over a year of use I remain slightly disappointed with my V6. I find it weighs heavily on the top of the hand - between the thumb and forefinger - becoming painful after a short time.

Pro's - Good performance. It holds its own with the upright. For little jobs it's ideal. Great suction and seems easy to use. Cons. For a company of Dysons stature I would expect a far better and more importantly - reliable battery.

I'm really happy with this! We have small kids and this makes so much sense. The battery lasts longer than I thought it would. It does all I need for small to medium cleanups. For large cleanups I still use my 5yo Dyson upright.
