Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal 206031-01 Review

Dyson markets itself as the company with the science behind vacuum cleaners that never lose suction. This upright vacuum cleaner proved to have excellent suction, and it moved around corners better than most of the machines on our lineup.

This upright vacuum combines powerful suction and fluid maneuverability

It doesn't let you adjust the suction

Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal Review: All suck, no topple

Sucking more, stumbling less: that may not be quite how Dyson bills the new Cinetic Big Ball Animal , but that's the basic promise from the new canister vacuum. Borrowing from the same physics that keeps Weebles from falling over, the distinctive cleaner justifies its hefty price tag with less...

Top-of-the-line cleaning performance; Clever design avoids tipping; Pet hair removal tool really does work; Easy to empty and no filter to clean

Very expensive; Still reasonably heavy

Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy

Does your current vacuum seem to be getting worse with time? Is it failing to pick up all the crumbs and debris that it used to? Well, when's the last time you changed the filter? Never, huh? Don't worry, me too.

No filter needed; Doesn't lose suction; Good at picking up very fine debris

Very expensive; Heavy; Weak upright lock

Dyson Cinetic Big Ball animal+allergy Review

Dyson's DC65 Cinetic Big Ball Animal+Allergy is one of the most high-tech, feature-packed vacuums the company has produced to date, but all these bells and whistles don't come cheap.

Bagless; Filterless; Maneuverable; Lots of attachments; Great suction performance

Loud operation; Expensive

cleans well but falsely advertised

We purchased the Dyson a year ago and were impressed with how well it cleaned our carpets. The canister was filled up a couple of times when we first started using it. The canister is emptied by releasing the door on the bottom and everything falls out and that is an issue, the fine dust floats back...

cleans well

does have filters; messy to empty canister; expensive to buy and maintain

Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal Plus Allergy Review

This filter-less upright vacuum would be great for homes with a lot of carpet inside because it traps fine dust particles that can trigger asthma or cause allergic rhinitis. The absence of a pre-motor filter means there is no need to wash anything and one less maintenance task to worry about.

Captures even fine allergen without clogging up the filter; Comes with the tangle free turbine tool (a $70 value add) to clean pet hair; Comes with a reach under tool to clean up hard-to-reach spots under furniture that standard vacuums will not reach; Very decent reach – 33 feet (that includes the...

Very; very; very expensive; Relatively short power cord; Has less suction power than a; Only catches allergens up to 0.5 microns

Dyson Cinetic Big Ball Animal + Allergy vacuum review

Dyson had one of the best bagless vacuums on the market before this latest redesign to remove the filter. Now that we don't need to worry about cleaning and replacing a filter, it makes this vac even better because it means it is maintenance free.

Great suction; No filters or bags to replace or clean; 5 year warranty; Built in hose; Long cord; Incuded tools and storage bag

Expensive; Dirt bin capacity is pretty low

Dyson made its name by eliminating big frustrations people encounter when trying to accomplish one of the most basic household tasks: vacuuming. So what do you do when the big frustrations are gone? You tackle the little ones.

4.1 ft extension rod for high spot cleaning; Big bin; Ball won't flip

Expensive; Fairly large in terms of occupying storage space

Best Vacuum!

I bought this vacuum about a month ago and it is by far the best vacuum ever! The suction is absolutely phenomenal! The length of the cord is very long, so I can get through most of my house without having to unplug over and over.
