Arrived early, perfect working order. The game is fantastic to play and can last at least 100 hours of gameplay before it gets boring.

Another year, another outing for this Japanese hack 'n' slash. The Renbu combat may have been axed, but problems still persist...

Horrible repetitive Renbu combat system has been dropped; Excellent narrative and portrayal of ancient Chinese legend

Online co-op mode is almost hidden from view; Many characters still seem ‘Right-click/Copy/Pasted' although less so than previous games; Repetitive combat is still an issue – but that is par for the course with this genre

Alot of the changes they have made initially had me cringing. But as i got into the game more i can say that i much prefer the new systems they have incorporated this time around.

Square, square, square, square, square, square *dies*

Not much has truly changed in battles. In the plot mode you're forced to play a certain character for the battle. From there the gist of these games is that you are thrown in to a battle with various objectives ranging from pure body count to escorts & various shades between.

Dynasty Warriors 7 is the best of the series. In the story mode, you can understand the detailed history of the 3 kingdom. In the conquor mode, you can play special fight for many of the characteristics.

A lot of my friends say that Dynasty Warriors 7 is simply amazing, due to the different form of hack and slash. So when I received my game, I was happy and could not wait to play it. Booting up the game showed a nice intro and some really cool music.

dynasty warriors 7 succeeds in being a faithful dynasty warriors game but it fails to bring anything substantial or groundbreaking to the franchise. if you're a fan of the series, go for it but you're gonna be disappointed.

pros - maintains the distinct dynasty warriors style gameplay - musou attacks are awesomely epic and a blast to use - great roster of characters - a lot of weapons to choose from

cons - cutscenes are hammier than ever - the story takes itself too seriously - conquest mode is too repetitive - challenge is almost nonexistent on easy & normal difficulties; and near impossible on harder difficulties at times regardless of your character's stats - the stats pickups for killing...

The anticipated DW series is back on track with this newly added addition! I'm a hardcore fan of the Dynasty Warriors series ever since DW3 and got every game that came after it. Fans will be glad to hear that the renbu system in DW6 is completely removed.
