Very pleased

Dreams? is a magnificent game and i don't say that about many games. I have played the alpha version of Dreams? and I have to say that it is quite pleasing to play for hours as it gives players a high sense of freedom as to what they can actually do in-game.

Bringing Your Imagination To Life

More than any developer, Media Molecule has been driven by a singular goal: to empower players to make and share their own games. LittleBigPlanet focused this concept on the 2D platformer, but clever players spent years devising ways to stretch and twist their creations beyond the genre's confines.

Dreams review

Media Molecule has likened Dreams to YouTube, and comparisons have also been made to SoundCloud. That it has even been mentioned in the same breath as either at this stage is premature, but if Media Molecule and Sony keep nurturing and supporting the software for years to come? Who knows. Dreams doesn’t care if you’re a player or a creator, as long as you’re having fun, and those who do fancy themselves as the game designers of tomorrow will be blown away by the extensive creation suite. Sure, there’s going to be a limit to how ambitious you can get within the the confines of the engine, but we can’t wait to see just how far the most dedicated dreamers can push it.

Loads of useful tutorials to get you started; Seriously impressive creation tools; Art’s Dream is a good showcase for Dream’s potential ; Encourages creativity like no other game; Huge selection of user-generated levels;

Those expecting a longer campaign might feel shortchanged; Controls aren’t perfect;

Dreams Review

Opening a game engine for the first time can make you feel like you’re in a sweaty-palmed nightmare. But Dreams isn’t like that – not only is diving into the game engine and learning how to create stuff fun, you’ll also never feel lost in the navigation and controls. Moreover, it gives you access to a bunch of minigames that you can’t find anywhere else.

Imaginative, easy-to-follow tutorials for noobs; Comprehensive set of game building tools that work well together; Built-in sharing platform where you can discover endless games;

Slightly tricky controls, but you can adjust these; Some social elements need work;
