Probably one of the most unique PS4 games I've ever played. It's a mix of Dynasty warrior with RPG elements, makes this a very refreshing combination. The battle system is great, with classes and unique skill for each. The open world element, although pretty limited, is very nicely designed.
Dragon Quest Heroes II Review Once again the Dynasty Warriors formula of taking your heroes out on the open road to flatten war mongering monsters that have the artificial intelligence of a plank of wood is back again.
With most Dynasty Warriors games and spinoffs, you have a good idea of what you're going to get going in: big maps with multiple objectives, huge amounts of enemy soldiers, and lots of hack-and-slash gameplay with flashy combos.

Dragon Quest Heroes II is a JRPG on fast forward. The gradual addition of new party members, the rollout of plot twists, and other typical genre roadmarkers come at you at a fast clip.

Mediocre AI partners; Underutilized class change system
