This is the best game I have played since Oblivion.

Good points -Excellent graphics, I found the details on the characters faces particularly beautiful, in many games all faces look very much alike. The characters also animate nicely. -Involving story line.

"Dragon Age: Origins: A Dark Fantasy Must-Own for any RPG Fan"

Dragon Age: Origins The Story The story is set in the fictional realm of Ferelden, a dark, high-fantasy setting. The land is haunted by horrific monsters called the Darkspawn, who plague the underground, and who every so often rise up in what is known as a 'Blight' to wipe out every living thing in...

Great story; great characters; morality system is innovative

Combat is bad

A Must Buy

I really liked DA:O, like any other Bioware's game. It's got a great story, interesting characters and tons of dialog. A quality game as usual. I bought this game about half a year ago for 20 Euro and now you can get it along with all the add-ons for just 5 more!

The first video I saw of Dragon Age: Origins had guys fighting with Marilyn Manson's "This is the new sh*t" playing over the top. It is really difficult to get hyped about a game when one of its trailers has music stating everything is a commercialized rehash being shoved down your throat by the...

Massive game with a lot of content; Playable characters have distinct personalities and interact with each other; Incredible amount of information about every aspect of the game's universe

Character Animations are stilted and unrealistic at times; Graphical dissonance - some features looking downright amazing while others look pulled straight from the PSX; Very simplified mechanics compared to Dungeons and Dragons games

Dragon Age: Origins Review

Dragon Age: Origins is yet another great RPG from BioWare and best played on PC. While the console versions suffer from some port issues, it's far from a deal breaker if you're looking for a decent RPG, but they do hold the game back from being in the same league as the PC version.

Dragon Age: Origins review

Dragon Age: Origins is arguably the year’s most highly-anticipated RPG release. Expert storytellers BioWare have made no effort to disguise the fact they consider Dragon Age: Origins to be the spiritual successor to Baldur's Gate, but the game also owes much to sister title Knights of the Old...

Ferelden is a vivid world and one that BioWare have paid painstaking attention to realising: flourishes are ready to greet you at every unexpected turn; The game has a sweeping mythical narrative that will soon engross the player.

Persistent scaling doesn't always work: The occasional fight is trivial, others will induce frequent reloading; Graphics smack of console friendliness; The game's gifting system is not particularly inspired.

"Love the game"

Great fun and the banter between NPC's and yourself is hilarious at times. So many ways to do things, be good or be nasty. Only downside is some of the side quests and items can be very difficult to find, and I'm not talking about the actual quests, I'm talking about the graphical item such as the...

Dragon Age: Origins (PC) - Review

Bioware has quite a résumé as an RPG developer. They have released blockbuster after blockbuster, but it's been several years since Bioware built an RPG around the Dungeons & Dragons PC style of the genre – a style which they themselves set standards for with the Baldur's Gate series.
