Dragon Age: Origins - Leliana's Song Review

Dragon Age: Origins' Leliana may have seemed sweet enough, but her initially faithful and spiritual demeanor masked an unsavory past. In Leliana's Song, the most recent downloadable content released for last year's superb role-playing game, you explore the bard's dark side and glimpse the...

Fantastic voice acting; Great new music; Effective storytelling casts Leliana in a darker light

Party is maxed out at three characters; None of the battles are very interesting; including the final fight

This is one of my favorite games. Extremely interesting story, with a lot of replayability. I ripped through it, and then instantly started again, one of the only times I have done that on any game.

Dragon Age: Origins

Bioware and RPG's have the sort of bond that is nigh on inseparable, so when Dragon Age was first announced it quite rightly sent shivers through the gaming community. It's been a while coming and being granted the title as "successor to Baldur's Gate" expectations were obviously rocketing to over...

Dragon Age: Origins Review

Dragon Age: Origins is yet another great RPG from BioWare and best played on PC. While the console versions suffer from some port issues, it's far from a deal breaker if you're looking for a decent RPG, but they do hold the game back from being in the same league as the PC version.

PC/XBOX360 Game

Last month I reviewed the Darkspawn Chronicles DLC , saying that even at "$5 in Microsoft Points … it has questionable value." I found it "a single-minded module that lasts about an hour, adds a single new item to the main game, and offers little replayability" … and was really just an average...

+ Great story + Well-done characters + Great new music + Everything feels tweaked and optimized + At 3+ hours this is a solid length

– Limited party size and choice – Combat not very challenging – Lack of a single epic battle

Review: Dragon Age: Origins (PC)

While I waited with some impatience for the next Mass Effect title to hit the store shelves, Bioware managed to sneak this title out of the gates with some fanfare and blood-letting, but is this RPG just a filler to keep us in the loop, or has Bioware hit upon another gem like Mass Effect that'll...

Dragon Age: Origins Review

In cases such as this, it's best to be frank and say that, while is undoubtedly an amazing RPG that reliably offers the kind of scope and character-driven adventure that we've come to expect of Bioware, it's still very much a game with problems.
