A really good platform game made in nintendo. As good as Donkey kong Country returns. If you have a Wii U trust me and buy this game. This a must have like Super Mario 3D World and The Legend of zelda wind waker HD (if you didn't play the game on Gamecube the past generation).

Pre-ordered with gift card incentive. Delivered on the following Monday (2 day) which was great. It was a pre-order but c'mon don't expect something to arrive same day it hits the shelf (do research)

To give some context to this review, the Original Donkey Kong Country (DKC) games on the SNES are some of the finest adventure platforming games ever made. Great graphics, outstanding music score and secrets galore.

When it was revealed that the next game from the beloved Retro Studios would be a follow-up to the Nintendo Wii game Donkey Kong Country Returns , it came as a surprise to many, and fan reactions were fairly mixed.

Easily one of the best WiiU games out there. Great presentation, silky controls and a tough game to beat. Excellent 2 player mode. Highly recommended.

Excellent visuals; fantastic, varied soundtrack; great level design; simultaneous co-op mode; in-game shop offsets the high difficulty; lots of secrets to find

Difficulty may really surprise some looking for something lighter; camera in co-op mode can be a little loopy at times
