Excellent sequel to the PS3 classic

One of the best first person stealth franchises, Dishonored 2 delivers excellent environments and level design. Multiple approaches are available for basically all tasks, and the fluid controls and powers make travelling the alleys and rooftops of this dreary steampunk/magical world a pleasure.

Dishonored 2 Review

Arkane Studios' 2012 freshman entry of Dishonored took many by surprise. It was a game that combined first-person combat, stealthy play-as-you-wish gamepl

Play as two distinct characters; Play however you wish (stealth or action; Art style trumps photorealistic graphics

Xbox One graphics can be a little muddy at times; Combat can still be a little random

Review: Dishonored 2 (Sony PlayStation 4)

It's already been a banner year for Bethesda, what with Doom proving to be better than we could have hoped and another version of Skyrim keeping the game in our minds five years after its initial release date.

(PlayStation 4 Review) Dishonored 2

The first Dishonored was a remarkable achievement in stealth gaming: in its very best moments, hugging the shadows throughout its plague-ridden steampunk city of Dunwall evoked the special kind of thrilling, freewheeling danger largely unseen since the venerable Thief 2 .

Dishonored 2 (PlayStation 4) Review

A sequel to the original Dishonored has always felt more of a matter of "when" than "if." Despite sporting a story that was relatively open and close, the dark and dreary world Arkane Studios had created was still ripe with promise and opportunity.

PS4 Review - 'Dishonored 2'

Explore a world unlike any other as either Emily Kaldwin or Corvo Attano - both powerful assassins with their own unique set of supernatural abilities, weapons and unusual gadgets.

Dishonored 2 is a sequel in a classic vein. When Dishonored was released in 2012, it was a throwback shot across the bow of AAA games. It largely avoided the spectacular action and setpieces of big-budget titles, and instead went back to the well of the late-'90s/early-'00s renaissance of...

Arkane Studios returns to the world of Dishonored, with a bigger, badder version of the game they debuted in 2012. Choose between the direct violence of Corvo Attano or the deception and guile of Emily Kaldwin.

After the unexpected hit that was 2012's Dishonored, French developers Arkane Studios had their work cut out for them crafting a sequel that could do justice to their dark, supernatural steampunk stealther. Four years later, and Dishonored 2 has a lot to prove.
