Hard to master

This is one of the more difficult to master games... You have to think of your car as on an ice rink , and make your turns meters away from the actual turn, so that by the time you've finished sliding sideways, you're facing the right way to continue your way along the track....

Dirt 3 provides good racing and rally and at a good price

"...that is developed by Codemasters, Dirt 3 was released in May 2011 for the Europe market. I was surprised to see that the Colin Mcrae had been removed from the title but I can assure you that this game is the third instalment in the Colin Mcrae rally games.

Good graphics; great selection of cars; Good choice of game moodes

Poor levelling up system; Not enough tuning options

Dirt 3 Reviewed

This isn't to say that rally enthusiasts are not better catered for this time around. While disciplines such as trailblazer and rally cross have returned, tour mode features a higher percentage of rally events compared to its 2009 counterpart.

All in all, a good racing game with a nice twist. Through the air? ..well thats up to you!

About - Colin McRae Dirt was first introduced in 2008. With its counterpart No2 stage launching in late 2009. These were very successful games physically and graphically. But, then came the time for change. Yours truly, DIRT 3. It crashed, .....and someone said....

DiRT 3

Many of the events in Dirt 3's lengthy Dirt Tour career mode span multiple back-to-back races at the same location, but the game does an excellent job of keeping the action from feeling stale.

New event types add even more variety to both solo and multiplayer sessions; Difficulty and assist options cater to new and experienced drivers alike; Cars; buggies; and trucks all look great and handle superbly; Fantastic presentation; Supports both online and split-screen multiplayer

Dirt 3 has rally events like the original Dirt which is great. overall its a blast to play for novices but short of memorising the rally routes, its very hard to tweak the settings for more of a challenge. I am back to Forza 4 a few hours after.

This is not Colin Mcrae anymore. I know in the game must be new something, but in this Dirt 3 is like 10% rally. And more funny stuff is, that the maps is all the same. I am disappointed. I want true rally with lots of maps and rally.

DiRT 3 - Review

What better than driving fast? How about driving fast, mere inches away from pine trees and cliff edges, in a stripped down car that's been built for just that very purpose? That's the special thrill that Codemasters has made its own in video games, ever since the Colin McRae games on the PSone.

Incredible graphics; Varied driving; Gymkhana

Not enough locations; Almost too addictive

'DiRT 3' (Xbox 360)

For many people, rally is the ultimate expression of driving - man and machine united in a war against time and the elements. Over the years, Codemasters has done a solid job of recreating this particular vehicular thrill with the

DiRT 3

DiRT 3 is everything I hoped it would be, a return to some good old roots rallying. The game plays as good as it looks, which is fantastic. Whether you are tearing along the Fjords of Norway or blasting through the deserts of Kenya or even showing off around Battersea it's an exhilarating ride.
