Could have been better, though still not bad

For a story line extension to Diablo 3 its not bad though it did seem a little rough around the edges. Some of the plot seemed a little forced, and the minor conversations you have from time to time are a bit odd, for me they just didn't always click with what was going on at the time.

The Dark Lord of the Couch – Diablo III review

Blizzard has always been a PC-centric company, but with the release of Diablo III in May of last year, the control scheme hinted at something interesting – a potential console product.

New radial menu works perfectly; Full array of loot is represented here; All content is up-to-date with PC release; Soundtrack is still hauntingly beautiful; Local co-op works extremely well; Pick-up and play works for anyone; Cutscenes are still as beautiful as the first time I saw them

Some muddy textures; Infrequent minor framerate hitch; 4 player local makes for a cluttered screen

"Best port ever"

The game bored me ever so slightly on the PC, but it seems Blizzard managed to make the controls engaging and get rid of the main issues for the xbox version (auction house, always online). 10 thumbs up!

My daughter who hates blood and gore on games when ...

My daughter who hates blood and gore on games when I play is addicted to this one as she has options of using magical powers and not weapons to kill thy enemy. Bought it for her.

We review Diablo 3 on console

The full Diablo 3 experience has landed on the consoles and it has lost none of its fantastic shine and depth of gameplay

After causing calluses on clicking fingers far and wide on PC, Diablo III has come to consoles and swapped the mice and keyboards for gamepads. The result is an experience that feels somewhat different; clicking the screen to guide your heroes around isn't the same as having direct control of their...

Powerful abilities make combat enjoyable; Flexible; customizable character classes; Endless; alluring loot; Varied locations that cry out to be explored; Harder difficulty levels change up the game significantly

Weapon system flies in the face of traditional RPG logic; Local cooperative play is disappointing

Diablo III Review

Cross another winner of multiple Vaporware Awards off the list: After many long years, Diablo III is finally available. Blizzard has clearly aimed to capture everything people loved about Diablo III's 12-year-old predecessor, the addictive dungeon-raiding gameplay that made them crave a sequel so...

Perfectly tuned dungeon-crawler gameplay with a killer audio/visual presentation.

Always-online DRM is mildly annoying; story content and delivery is weak

Diablo III

The mouse has to be without doubt one of the most boring pieces of technology available. It might be as useful an invention as the car or the railways, but rarely will we be doing backflips over a new piece of mouse-related hardware. Thanks to Diablo III, this has all just changed.

Brilliant gameplay; runs on anything; easy to understand; simple controls

Those who like more beef to their RPG might want to look elsewhere; you have to have an internet connection to play

Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition Review

Can Blizzard achieve what people said couldn't be done and provide the same loot driven monster slaying experience as the PC? Yes and no. Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition includes the base Diablo III game and the Reaper of Souls expansion, which includes a new act and most notably a completely...

Diablo III

We should know by now that Blizzard doesn't believe in a revolutionary approach to games design. Just as the main moan about StartCraft II was that it was, actually, a lot like StarCraft, so you can guarantee that some people will be saying that Diablo III is a lot like Diablo II, which was itself a...

Addictive slay; loot and upgrade gameplay; High level of polish; Excellent co-op multiplayer; Good; well-balanced range of classes

Not a huge advance on previous games; Connection issues
