In every respect that Destiny felt forged from nail-biting uncertainty, a mélange of design decisions that would be rewritten and redone time and time again over the course of three years, Destiny 2 exudes confidence and belief.

Destiny 2 is a first-person action game that takes the player on an epic journey to defend humanity from annihilation.

Since this morning, I've been hammering away at Destiny 2 , Bungie's second shot at its intriguing science-fiction fantasy universe. I'm the massively multiplayer online (MMO) guy at USgamer and for all of the ways Destiny departed from the formula, it was still an MMO.

Destiny 2 is an first person shooter set in a mythic science fiction world. It is in some ways a role-playing game as you assume the role of a Guardian protecting the Last City from various alien races and factions. You wield a power called – predictably – Light.

Good co-op game

Not so good single player

Destiny 2 is a much bigger game, which improves on all the gameplay features and mechanics of the original. More importantly, it does come with a meaningful story that drives solo players through all the game's content without turning the experience into an absolute borefest.

Plenty of content to play after campaign story; Excellent co-op and competitive gameplay; There's an actual story in it; and a decent one; Clan system is a great tool to better approach end content; Improves on just about every aspect of gameplay from Destiny

No new alien races to shoot; Still not recommended for solo players

Played the first one couldn't really get into to it. But this one is a lot better. Love how you share the maps with other players and that you can do public challenges togerher without having an online pass
