As a smaller expansion in both size and price, my expectations for Warmind were modest, in keeping with similar prior expansions with the scope of a few new missions and locations to explore.

Since this morning, I've been hammering away at Destiny 2 , Bungie's second shot at its intriguing science-fiction fantasy universe. I'm the massively multiplayer online (MMO) guy at USgamer and for all of the ways Destiny departed from the formula, it was still an MMO.
Overall a good addition to the franchise although Bungie have changed so much from the original that it feels like it lost some of its identity. Its a work in progress, give it a year or so and it will be fantastic
GameCentral offers its final judgement on Bungie's blockbuster sequel, including all of the game's co-op and competitive modes.
Perfectly hewn gunplay and much wider range of things to see and do, especially in the open world maps; Streamlined upgrade path and excellent Strike and Raid design; Great graphics
The storytelling is still very basic, and the Crucible remains competent but far less distinctive than the rest of the game; Repetition will still get to you sooner or later
Finally, a Destiny game that does a lot of what Bungie promised before the first title made its debut. Although many consider it just a slightly improved version of Destiny 1, I wouldn't put it that way.
Plenty of content to play after campaign story; Excellent co-op and competitive gameplay; There's an actual story in it; and a decent one; Clan system is a great tool to better approach end content; Improves on just about every aspect of gameplay from Destiny
No new alien races to shoot; Still not recommended for solo players
Whilst it got off to a shakey start, most of the negative reviews on here are from players who reviewed before the widely well regarded Raid Lair was released and updates for Masterwork weapons and Dawning. As it stands today, the DLC has much more content and is well worth the money, in my opinion.
Shadowkeep is taking its first steps in a newly focused Destiny that might not offer a lot, but strongly delivers on what it does. While it's hard to say whether Bungie can maintain this promised trajectory for the course of the expansion, the signs so far are encouraging.
+ A return to the main narrative; + Eris Morn's story & performance; + Garden of Salvation raid is fantastic; + Lots of hidden secrets on the Moon for returning players; + Additional gear stats offers new loadout possibilities
- Retreading old ground; - Campaign feels cut short; - Armor 2.0 appearances are limited so far; - Seasonal Content isn't sticking around
It's hard to overstate how much better Destiny 2 has become in the last year. The Forsaken expansion and the smaller, more frequent updates that followed added variety in activities that meant you could earn rewards while playing your favorite content, as well as a huge amount of new, weird lore to...
Armor and weapon customization allows for more gameplay experimentation; Leveling changes and season pass make grinding feel more meaningful; Destiny 1 areas are nicely nostalgic but still give returning players lots to discover; The moon is a great place to explore thanks to its spooky atmosphere
Story campaign is quick and a little thin; New activities are fun but aren't as substantial as previous additions
Destiny 2 addresses many of the complaints brought up about Destiny , and as a result, delivers a better realized experience with a more engaging story, addictive combat, and refined mechanics.
To say that Destiny 2 has been a bit rocky since it's launch is an understatement. With complaints about it being too grindy, and then not grindy enough, and back again to being grindy and repetitive, Bungie has had their work cut out for them creating additional content to keep players invested in...
Loads of New Content; Emotionally-Charged Narrative; Gambit; Challenging New Enemies
Expensive to Level Gear; A Little Too Familiar
