I would not recommend this sound bar. We had problems with it starting the day of installation, and it turned out after it was checked that it was a defective unit.

I bought this sound bar as an early x-mas present to myself. The sound bar that we had in the family room just did not have the range I was looking for in a large room. After about looking for about a month I decided on this Denon. I like the fact it has built in WiFi for streaming music.

WiFi; setup; nice bass

"I had a 7.1 surround set up which is sadly now in boxes waiting to be sold. Moving house, smaller living room and a new addition to the family soon has meant that wires sprawling around the living room were a no no. I spent a lot of time researching, reading reviews and then listening to soundbars.

Complete waste of time and such a disappointment from Denon...Works well the first time but don't even think of turning it off as it will never work again...They have a policy of NOT replacing faulty items, instead, you have to send it off, they then send it to HOLLAND then you get it back weeks...

I did a lot of research and listening to different systems and ultimately, I really enjoyed the BOSE Soundtouch with Bass module, but for $1300 it was not in consideration. So it was down to the SONOS and the Denon, I went back twice to Best Buy listening to them both.

Good for watching movies; great for listening to music in multi-zones

No self contained WI-FI system like SONOS

Great sound. I've only had this for about a month, but so far it has made movies come to life. I love the ability to add other speakers in other rooms that work via Wi-Fi and all controlled by your phone. Simple to set up. Love it so far!

If you're in the market for a soundbar then Denon's HEOS HomeCinema should definitely be on your short list.

I have owned a Denon Amplifier system for 25 years now and one of the reasons i chose this soundbar was because of the peace of mind knowing this brand. It sounds amazing and the app is fantastic. I had to accept the software upgrade at the time and this now has been fantastic
