The Dell XPS 15 is a fantastic laptop and a no-brainer purchase for anyone who wants a laptop that lives primarily on a desk at home or in the office. It's cheaper and more highly specc'd than a MacBook Pro and makes far more sense to buy than something like a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 .

I bought this a month ago after store staff member recommended as he has the same model. I am very happy with this laptop. Really good build quality. Great performance, nice screen, good battery, doesn't get too hot on the lap. Been a very positive experience. Very happy and highly recommend.

Unless you're hooked on Apple, which many are, this machine is a gem. Fast, light, full of features and less $$ than the MBP. Great video on a big screen, fingerprint reader and ssd make sign-ins quick. Pretty good battery life too, considering the processor.
