Dell Ultrasharp U2412M review
Dell is a very popular monitor manufacturer and the U2412M is its latest mid-range 24in model. It costs over £200 but while you can pick up similarly-sized screens for less, the Dell Ultrasharp U2412M has some very useful features.

A great value. Would have to pay a lot more for a better and larger monitor
Fantastic monitor. Very bright and clear. Easy to set up and has a wonderfully crisp image. I would recommend this monitor especially for the price I paid.

Best for software engineers
I found it best for software engineers. That additional 120 pixels really makes a difference with more vertical space. I am sure as it's wonderful and exciting for developers. Other users would also find it incredible.

Dell UltraSharp U2412M
Photo and video editors will probably find a slightly more upscale performer, such as the Asus PA246Q, more suitable, whereas speed-minded gamers may want to check out the Asus VH236H.
Pros:
- Top-notch performance
- Great ergonomic support
- Excellent value
Cons:
- Lacks HDMI input
- Viewing angles are mediocre

Wow - Definitely the best PC related investment I have ever made. This monitor is very nice to look at and work with. I have been using it for gaming, watching movies and regular office tasks. It is great for all these things.

Great 24" Monitor
This monitor works well so far-received 2 weeks ago. I am doing CAD, Photoshop and other graphic intense programs. I find the visuals quite comparable to an Apple monitor despite anti-glare coating. Does not overheat. The DVI connection is a bit bulky, but not too inconvenient.

- very good 24" monitor
- price reduced as well
Cons:
- speakers would be nice

Great display quality for the price
Pros: The display quality and price (on sale) are great. Cons: It doesn't want to work with my KVM switch, so I'm looking into a workaround. Also, the bottom bezel (or the screen) is bowed toward the center, so it creates a thin-thick-thin-appearing Windows screen edge across the bottom.

I brought this monitor,and if you are a web developer or a graphics designer or even a gamer you are missing out. The vivid colour projected through this monitor is crazy whilst using photoshop or playing F1 2013 it's just great

As good - or better - than expected, and easier too...
Totally satisfied, and grateful to those who said not to worry (calibration, photography, etc.). Now I understand why this monitor has fans! Great color rendition, great value.

Cons:
- Missing exotic bells & whistles, though lots of bang for the buck
- No cam/speakers
