Dell UltraSharp U2711 review: Dell UltraSharp U2711
With a huge resolution, excellent performance in both colour and movies, and a huge amount of inputs, the U2711 excels in almost every area it puts its mark to. Hardcore gamers may be a little wary of the input lag, and others of the cost — but if you can afford one, you'll likely be very, very pleased.
Pros:
- H-IPS panel. Great resolution. Huge array of inputs. Offset and gain control. RGBCMY hue and saturation control. 24p support. Excellent HQV scores. sRGB and AdobeRGB modes.
Cons:
- Input lag might be disturbing to competitive gamers. Ever so slight judder. More granularity over offset would be nice. No ATW polariser, so white IPS glow is present.

The Dell UltraSharp U2711 is one of the new breed of high-resolution 16:9 ratio displays to hit the market. With a high-quality IPS panel, a huge 2,560 x 1,440 resolution, and an equally hefty price tag, the U2711 is a high-end monitor to aspire to. It cuts an impressive dash on any desk.

Excellent product!!
We bough this product for our estimating department and has been a worthwhile investment. The picture quality and size are perfect and suits are dual monitor sofware requirements.

Absolutely Exquisite
I have been using the U2711 for nearly two years it has been and is a daily amazing experience. The colors are stunning; no eyestrain; i.e. no migraines! I use this monitor for graphic design and product review the clarity in the details makes it worth owning.

Nothing to complain about. Great for media, good viewing angles and a hideous amount of pixels for one that comes from a 19 "... Inget att anmärka på. Utmärkt för media, bra betraktningsvinklar och en ohygglig mängd pixlar för en som kommer från en 19"...

Good Buy
Bought this about 18 months ago, so I've had a lot of use of it and it is a very good monitor. It handles gaming pretty good, hardly any lag.

I was disappointed that it doesn't support the max resolution over HDMI
I was disappointed that it doesn't support the max resolution over HDMI, so I bought a display port cable. It works great with the display port cable. I use it with Linux Mint (XFCE) and it works great even at the highest resolution.
